2016 saw a lot of new faces along with some unexpected losses. We didn't get everything in our predictions right last year, but here were the ones that came true:
My predictions for 2017:
Kenshuusei: Danbara Ruru, after debuting, fits nicely into her group.
Kenshuusei: We see some of the older girls leave after not being selected for the 13th gen of MM.
Country Girls: Momochi gets a solo song on CG's album before she leaves the entertainment biz
Country Girls: Yamaki Risa is announced as the new leader
Country Girls: They get an 80's-themed song
Kobushi: Budokan announced at end of the year
Kobushi: Please someone dye your hair I'm begging you
Kobushi: New single sales hit 60,000
MM'17: Fukumura Mizuki and Sato Masaki announce graduation
MM'17: 13th gen is a success within the wota fanbase and general sales increase, new album in 2017.
MM'17: We finally see/hear back from Sayashi as she returns from the states. She choreographs an MM song.
C-ute: Will not have a spring tour and instead will have more fanclub events.
C-ute: Graduation concert is a great success and Airi won't leave the stage.
C-ute: New KSS group named as successor.
Ju=Ju: Kanazawa Tomoko leaves due to medical issues.
Angerme: Wada Ayaka announces graduation at H!P summer concerts
Angerme: Gets to perform their tour final at Yokohama Arena instead of Budokan
Angerme: New hip-hop inspired song.
