This group actually formerly debuted in 2014 under the name MINX. Although member Siyeon did grab some attention for her powerful vocals and extreme high note, they unfortunately failed to garner much of a following, but they're giving it another go in 2017! New name, two new members, and a uniquely eye catching horror concept paired with a jpop-inspired song!
You can find a rundown of all the members with pictures here. You can also watch some of my favorite videos from them below!

Quite frankly, I'm more than a little bit desperate for this group to do well as I've been dying for a girl group to do a horror concept for years now. VIXX made a trend of it for boy groups in 2013 but girl groups have still been limited to the incredibly boring and predictable sexy & cute concepts with little to no variety and I think a girl group finding any success at all in a concept without corny sexy costumes or schoolgirl uniforms could finally make girl groups in Korea interesting again.
They could easily be a flash in the pan like Korea's Babymetal knock-off Pritz (who released two songs and then fell off the radar after getting involved in a Nazism scandal) but I've seen a lot of interest in them and it looks like their company put a lot of money into this re-debut so fingers crossed! The song kind of combines Korean and Japanese pop sounds in a way that prevents it from being a total knock off like Pritz or other recent (and desperate) attempts to hook Korean otaku on a homegrown girl group. I really hope they make it because goddammit I am TIRED of pure concepts and sexy office ladies!
