Dunno if this it nitpicking or if there's even anything that can be done about this, but on the 2.x version of the forum, we'd get a little newest-to-oldish posts list. And there was also a link where you could open the whole topic in a new window. I didn't know it, but apparently I quite relied on that feature.

So... I would like to contribute by making a banner for the new forum. I did a quick search but I couldn't find anything written on the subject. Will there be a banner call/better to wait until then? What are the new banner specifications (dimensions, etc)?

I'm not sure if that's what you mean, but there's the [url="http://mm-bbs.org/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=new_posts&search_filter_app%5Bforums%5D=1"%5DView New Content%5B/url%5D link near the top right corner in both skins.Dunno if this it nitpicking or if there's even anything that can be done about this, but on the 2.x version of the forum, we'd get a little newest-to-oldish posts list. You might want to read the first post in this thread again.So... I would like to contribute by making a banner for the new forum. I did a quick search but I couldn't find anything written on the subject.

I think he's talking about when you're writing a new post in the full editor then there's no preview of the previous ~5 posts (in that specific thread you're about to post in) below the "Add Reply - Preview Post or Cancel" buttons like it used to be on the old board.

I didn't even notice that it was gone because I never relied on it myself. It was the perfect application of the Murphy's Law - the post that you wanted to see was always frustratingly beyond the cut-off point. And opening the whole thread again in a whole new window (and often navigating to the last page) was just too much bother.
Anyway, we'll see how it goes, although it sounds like one of the less trivial mods out of the whole bunch we've made/are planning to make.
