Well this just goes to show how little I know:

I'm honestly glad that I've gotten my wish so far. She is very much in the background except when used in cute little bits that make fun of her seniority. I honestly love this group and everything they've put out so far. I can't find a single fault despite my disdain for Momoko

Not crazy about Tamerai Summertime, personally.. but it fits the overall idea/past of Country Musume.

Agreed. I do like seeing those pretty outdoor PVs though.

They released the Promotion Edit
I like the song. It reminds me of Shining Itoshiki Anata for some reason. Both songs sound like vintage 50-era songs to me.

They performed Wakatteiru no ni and had a talk segment. That 6th chair though....😳
And their Nico stream

Why does Mai sound weak in this studio live again? (Referring to the first one)... So odd since she felt so in control during her Hinafest solo. I mean I know the setting/set up is different but it makes me sad =(
AND DUDE. WHY THE EXTRA CHAIR. THERE WAS EVEN JUICE THERE.

WHY WAS THAT EXTRA CHAIR THERE?! THAT IS NOT OKAY.

So I dreamt that an interview had mentioned that to them and how they felt about it, and Mai started crying while looking at the empty chair and trying to answer the question.
Btw I was watching another interview where the announcer referred to CG as a 6 person group and they to correct them. Makes sense though since they probably visited most of these places last time with 6 people and Uta's leaving wasn't that publicized because it's not like she graduated.

Every time I think I've accepted the fact that shes gone, some sort of thing like this happens (or a rumor about her returning starts). It probably wasn't even intentional either.

Tamerai Summertime didn't do much for me the first time I heard it, but when it came on by random shuffle the other day I quite enjoyed it. The song is like a pillow, just seems so relaxing.

They were 2k behind #4 and 4k behind #3.

Only 15,000 off following their "debut"/Uta leaving... Not bad. Puts them still at pretty decent sales for all of H!P.

Not historically weak, but it is on the low end for major H!P groups of the last year. I think Aa Susukino and Senobi are the two with lower first weeks in that period.

30k for the first week of a fairly new group is still good though. It'll be interesting to see how long this single keeps charting.

I mean Angerme's past two singles have been 44-48,000, Juice=Juice's 32-40,000... So at least they're not that far off the mark. My question is-why do you all think that is? Not as appealing songs (Tamerai Summertime is so meh for me), not a "debut" single, loss of Uta, or other? I'm curious what my fellow members think :3

^Pretty much my thoughts. Not to knock these two singles, but I was kind of glad to see that the first one was a little bit of a fluke, rather than that they'd just effortlessly and regularly outdo the entire history of S/mileage, Juice=Juice, and 97% of Berryz from the get-go.
