I feel like there's multiple things of importance here...

 

#1: CG songs weren't vocal-heavy (at least from what I can tell), and if there were such lines they usually went to Momoko/Funakki/Yamaki 

#2: Ju=Ju does usually improve the vocals of their newly added members. But she's had some decent solos before then (such as her Koi wa Magnet after her health hiatus)

#3: Manaka does sound really good here, and I loved how she sounded on the chorus of this... but there was a song she had either this birthday event or last year that was just painful to listen to as she was completely off key or something. So idk if she's consistently good, or just on these one-offs.

Am I the only one who thinks Manaka's voice is over compressed on this? I assume it was done on purpose, but you can hear the compressor working, which is odd for such an intimate arrangement.

Manaka did have vocal cord surgery back in 2018 so I assume after that she started singing in a different way so that wouldn’t happen again. So yeah, she’s had some improvements since her starting days. But like any H!P singer there are just some songs not suited to their range and they try them as challenging songs and it either works or doesn’t.

Rei announced that her member colour is white.

 

Oh, well. Guess they had to give her white now, since she'll definitely be there for Karin's graduation concert and they need different glowstick colours.

If they’re still using fruit themes for their image colors then Rei could be coconut or bolsa pear.

It is, hands down.
I was sceptical about Rei joining Juice. She is a good singer, no question, but she was never a great one. Somewhere between Minami and Sakurako (Ayapan being far away). But in the end the right training helps a lot.
