Announced at their final tour, °Celebration, the group will be releasing their final best album on May 3rd.

http://www.helloproj...tail/EPCE-7325/

Limited A features a Blu-ray of their performance at COTTON CLUB

Limited B features a PV collection (cdjapan says it's all 49 PVs)

Regular is 6 discs (2 for couplings and 1 for rarities).

6 discs... dang! Curious what the "rare" songs would entail. Hopefully they're better than like... Wakkyanai (Z) 7nin version (aka the one without Kanna)

I mentioned this on H!O, but they don't seem to have too many rarities out there

Juliet Juliet (it'd be a mad loss if they didn't)

Amazuppai/Chou HAPPY SONG (just because)

Kirai de Kirai de Kirai (makes sense)

Koero! Rakuten Eagles (I would assume this would be included, since it was a single)

Akuma de Cute na Seishun Graffiti (it'd be nice to see it redone)

Neru Ko wa Cute (same here)

Edo no Temari Uta II (Kurofune Version) (I think it'd be a nice incentive I'd say)

but this is going by what Berryz' last release kind of looked like...albeit some more tracks I assume

If this is going by Berryz' last release, there should also be some covers chosen by members and the most important song for each musical they did. And maybe a remix of one of their iconic song (Ginghis Khan got a "piston" version, because it didn't have enough remixes haha).

Maybe add in the remixes and recovers they did back in 2012?

But I just want Juliet Juliet. Nothing else matters.

The Piston remix was on the Dschinghis Khan best album, if I remember correctly

I've never understood why for last "best" albums like this they don't re-edit songs... As in a vocal line that usually was Airi's goes to Okai. I mean do they really just toss out all the old vocals that don't make the song cut? That seems like a cool idea to me... but maybe I'm all wet.

Either way seems like a good album. Obv nothing will really top Cmaj9 for me, but this is probably the next best thing lol

I had no idea such an album existed haha. I checked, you're right, normal version, Tartar Mix and Piston Nichizawa Two Turntable Remix are on that album.

Edit : HMV unveiled tracklist (http://www.hmv.co.jp...LECTION_7693909)

「Rare tracks compilation」
1.Yuki ga CHIRARI
2.Come Together(℃-ute Ver.)
3.Juliet Juliet
4.Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku(Winter Ver.)
5.Koero!Rakuten Eagles
6.Kirai de Kirai Kirai/℃-ute
7.Chô HAPPY SONG(Single Ver.)/Berryz Kôbô×℃-ute
8.Gamusha LIFE(Acoustic Ver.)
9.Neru Ko wa °C-ute
10.Samurai☆Baby
11.Ataru mo Hakke!?
12.AKUMA de °C-ute na Seishun GRAFFITI
13.Yume (unreleased song)(new song)
14.Rin (unreleased song)(new song)
15.Zenbu Owatta Kaerimichi (unreleased song)(new song)

Yuki ga CHIRARI seems to be the original version of Sakura CHIRARI and Come Together is Ongaku Gatas' 3rd single. Neru Ko wa °C-ute is from their musical in September 2007 and Ataru mo Hakke from the one in September 2009.
But no idea about Samurai☆Baby.

3 new songs and several songs I've never heard of : I'm excited about this 6th disk.
Now hoping events will be before my arrival to Japan or I'll be tempted to buy limited A with regular.

An original version of Sakura Chirari??  That's kind of interesting..

YESSSS Juliet Juliet, also I assume Samurai Baby & Ataru mo Hakke!? are stageplay songs (made me realize that C-ute never did an Engeki play lol.)

3 more new songs?  I really hope they aren't more goodbye songs because I think we've had enough of those from them xD

Also, really liking they left off Amazuppai!

They don't have a depressive good bye song like Love Together so I'm assuming at least one of these will be so ; and it may be the last one since title means "My way home when everything is done" (other meaning "Dream" and "Dignified").

And same here, I already own it 3 times haha.

Samurai Baby is apparently from their 2009 stageplay, Keitai Shousetsuka

Hearing the new material from the 6th disc, I was not expecting Megumi to be in Yuki ga Chirari....and the rest of the new stuff is decent.

As for the 3 new songs...ehhh...they're OK...but nothing I'll remember

What a dilemma! Do I get Limited Edition Type A, which has a Blu-ray of the Cotton Club performance? Or Limited Edition Type B, which has a Blu-ray of all their music videos?

I probably have most of their PVs already, as Single-V's or on Petit Best or their compilation discs. I'm sure I have all of them from the beginning to early 2012. But it would be nice to have them all in one place. Any input on the Cotton Club performance that would sway me in that direction?

Thanks.

I'd say the real question is between Regular and Limited A, so between 44 (!) more songs (you may own a few of them but very few B-sides made it to albums) and a concert dvd.

Here is the setlist of the Cotton Club performance : http://helloproject....in_℃OTTON_CLUB~ and here is part of Mugen Climax performance https://youtu.be/I_lciRn4VjQ, to let you have an idea of the atmosphere. One of my friends saw it live and really enjoyed it. He said it was quite refreshing to have something different from usual live concerts for once, calm and with a live band.

It's a hard choice... But all of C-ute is probably in their strongest vocal place for Cotton Club. Maimai is still painful to listen to, but it's far less strained than normal concerts...

Plus there's the amazing live version of Mugen Climax.

Thanks for the link. There are other Cotton Club links there. I'll check out the clips and make up my mind. Thanks, Meikochi and TicTacAnyone.
