I agree with Anderei. The lines are too quick and it requires a lot of breath which isn't great for solo's. For girls who aren't great at singing, they don't know how to sing from their diaphragms or hold the notes properly. Of course someone who was well trained in singing tackling this song is another story.
Why do you think so ?When will girls learn that Shabondama is never good solo? I need to write a letter.
Oh ok, thanks for the explanation Saya.
Okamoto Honoka is cute on this photo.

The Gakkyoku kanji that is there.... Is it saying their favorite song, or the song they performed to get in, or the song they will be performing? Since it was just "music" by itself I wasn't sure how to interpret it lol.
Thought I posted this already, but I guess I didn't.
Tsubaki Factory picked the order in which they would be performing on the test. That's where these images came from.

Singing award- Funaki Musubu (船木結) (runner-up Danbara Ruru (段原瑠々)Dance award- Ichioka Reina (一岡怜奈), Hashimoto Nagisa (橋本渚)Character award- Horie Kizuki (堀江葵月)Shimizu award- Inoue Hikaru (井上ひかる)Best performance award- Kaga Kaede (加賀楓) (509 votes, more then 200 vote more then second)These were the judges this year.Mitsubachi MakiUeno MarikoTokunaga ChinamiTakahashi AiMakotoInfo from Jplop.
Damn I knew Kaga doing Love Take it All would be good, but I didn't think it'd, essentially, win the show! I'm glad none of the girls who "won" this year won last year... Spreading the love. The only overlap is that Danbara Ruru won Best Performance last year and is a runner-up this year, and Kaga Kaede was runner-up in dancing last year and winner in Best Performance this year.

My Review of the Recital. Stars next to best performances. There are a lot of new girls here, so I don't want to judge them too harshly because it's their first time and they're probably pretty nervous.
1: Inoue Hikaru - Nakimushi Shounen
She did pretty well, I was surprised. She has improved.
2: Okamoto Honoka - Be Genki <Naseba Naru!>
Not the greatest singer. She does sound very cute but her pitch is all over the place. I forgive her because she is the youngest and this is her first time. I guess we'll see if she improves or not.
3: Kasahara Momona - Haru Beautiful Everyday
Started of promising, but it kind of went downhill from there. She has potential though.
4: Danbara Ruru - GOOD BYE Natsuo
Ruru is always great.
5: Horie Kizuki - Shabondama
Anderei was saying before how Shabondama was a terrible solo song (and I agree with that), but Kizuki did a great job with it! Even Ai-chan praised her about it, saying that it's usually not a solo song but that Kizuki had good technique. She's a previous NGP girl, so she has the previous experience to do this song well.
6: Onoda Saori - GOOD BYE Natsuo
She has a nice voice, but she chose the wrong song for herself. Her voice is stable but it sounded pretty shouty in this song. I want to hear her sing something less powerful next time. Overall she handled the song well.
7: Yanagawa Nanami - Romance no Tochuu
Nanami speaks with such a confidence which makes me believe she must have some sort of previous experience. I was very very pleased with her performance. There is a room for improvement, but she has a good voice and I think as she gets older, she will be one of the stronger singers in H!P KSS. I like her a lot.
8: Shimano Momoko - Sukichan
She did good, she has room to improve, but it was cute!
9: Hashimoto Nagisa - FOREVER LOVE
She did a good job, as expected of a former NGP trainee, but she can still improve, she was straining a bit. She looks like Konatsu from UUG.
10: Yokogawa Yumei - Motto Zutto Issho ni Itakatta
Oh Yumei... you were not meant to sing. Extremely pitchy and hard to listen to.
11: Kaga Kaede - Love Take it all
Kaede always sounds good, but she sounded very out of breath during this entire song, so I'm wondering if this wasn't the best song choice to sing solo. She got best performance though, so maybe her dancing was good or something.
12: Nakano Rion - Yuugure Koi no Jikan
She sounded really nervous when she was singing. Pretty pitchy, but she has potential and a cute voice.
13: Takase Kurumi - Senobi
She did really great! She has a nice voice, good pitch, and overall I was very impressed with her! No wonder since she did idol work before. Her voice fits the song really well. She started to sound a bit more out of breath during the verses, but it wasn't very noticeable. She has a debut ready voice.
14: Takemura Miu - Dream Last Train
Her singing voice reminded me of Fuku-chan at first (sound wise). She started off strong, but lost power and started getting more and more pitchy, and ended poorly. She needs to work on stamina. This was not a good song choice for her.
15: Ichioka Reina - Nakimushi Shounen
She's not the greatest singer, but I could feel how hard she was trying through her singing. I think Hikaru did a better job, but Reina held her own in this song. Her voice was stable, but she sounded a bit strained. She has room to improve, but she did a good job.
16: Akiyama Mao - The Power
Her voice isn't strong, but she handled the song well. I think she has a good voice and will continue to improve her singing skills.
17: Kanatsu Mizuki - Kimi Sae Ireba Nani mo Iranai
Not the best song to sing solo, I wish someone has advised her against this because she is out of breath the whole song. Her pitch is also all over the place. Of the new girls, she is one of the weakest, she barely made it through the song. Even Ai-chan pointed out that is not a good solo song (in an indirect way).
18: Ono Mizuho - Daisuki 100manten
I was expecting this to be a pitch fest, because this song will do that to weaker singers. She did better than I expected, but this was probably not the best song for her. She has a nice and cute voice though, I think she did good overall for her first time and she has a lot of potential.
19: Funaki Musubu - 21ji Made no Cinderella
She did a great job, really cute and energetic.
20: Maeda Kokoro - Suki na Senpai
She sang this song better than most of 12th gen tbh. She has a nice voice but room to improve. Overall I liked it. She is probably the 2nd best singer of the new girls.

It's been rumored for a while that Okamoto Honoka has left Kenshuusei.
Makes sense, since she didn't participate in the Tamago Show evaluation =(
She was such a little cutie, too Q_Q

Today's episode of Green Room brought us, the current state of the Kenshuusei's singing abilities and of course I still can only tell a few of them apart. Tsubaki Factory also participated since they are still indie.
Watch them battle through Mr. Moonlight.
In order of who sings for those that can't read their names. * for Tsubaki Factory

Seriously, HOW did Ami ever get into Tsubaki Factory? I really don't mean to be a hater but she's just... so bad...
Ruru on the other hand -- absolute perfection.
I've really been loving Nanami, too, ever since she joined. She's soooo cute. Hopefully she'll be able to fill the void in my heart since the other Nanami left, haha.

Well you give someone a hand full of pictures, tell them to pick 6 girls to make a group out of the small stack you were given and there you go. A new group! Don't ask questions, you aren't aloud to ask questions.
Thus Tsubaki Factory was formed.
