Tell me what you're playing. GO.

Oshiri Kajiri Mushi no Rhythm Lesson (DS) - Adorable little rhythm game based on the OKM. The game is very well made and has voice training, the ability to listen to many of the songs featured in the game and conductor lessons.
Quickspot (DS) - A really well made "spot the difference" game. Features images from Namco-Bandai games from Katamari to Taiko no Tatsujin to Tower of Druaga. Definitely no very easy, but fun. Also has daily fortune telling games and two modes of play.
Super Mario 64 DS (DS) - Very hard to control. And why am I Yoshi?
Build-a-Lot (DS) - I thought this would be the other house buying/selling games, but I like this one too. I'm always expecting it to suddenly be wacky, but it doesn't get that way...
Bomberman Land Touch! (DS) - Really fun, but there are a lot of bottlenecks in the variety of choices available to you.
IIDX 16th: DJ TROOPERS (PS2) - Probably my second favorite IIDX style yet, but DistorteD will be my favorite for a while (at least until Empress hits consoles).

Just about finished with Mite wa Ikenai (DS), interesting idea for a game, though not much in the way of lastability.

Currently playing:

Twilight Syndrome: Kinjiratera Toshi Densetsu (DS)
Nanashi No Game (DS)

Yeah, I kinda have a thing for horror games.

This makes me think about how disgustingly quickly my interest dropped in IIDX. The last one I played on PS2 was DistorteD, and that was my favorite one, and after that, I like a few songs from Gold, but then my interest just completely dropped off and I haven't even touched the game since then, almost 2 years ago. I used to play almost every single day of my life in college, and after that, nothing. A lot of the music I listened to for DJ Troopers was just underwhelming and the lack of great things in Gold must have compounded that. It kinda sucks after I spend a couple thousand dollars on music game controllers, games, and soundtracks, and now I haven't even touched one of them besides Rock Band in years.

I love how DS is the new black with seemingly everyone who has interest in Japanese culture, yet there has not been one single game that has interested me for it in over 2 years (Rhythm Tengoku Gold excepted) and in those two years I've been interested in and played at least 80 to 100 games for Xbox 360. Nintendo really has a hold on the world of capitalism with their novelty gaming consoles.

I play so many games that most of the time its not even worth listing, beside the fact that most of what I post would never get responses or conversation since they're not about DS or Wii games! You could always click on the 360 thing in my sig and find out, if you really care to know, too.

Now that exams are over, I'm going to finish/play a lot of games:

World of Goo
Stalker Clear Sky
Sacred 2
Fallout 3
GTA IV
CoD 4 (MP of course)
BattleForge beta
and of course still Civ 4 (BTS)

All for PC naturally.
I also just rented a Wii + Super Mario Galaxy from a friend. So I'll also be playing that one, trying to finish it in the next few days. It has some really good level design and gameplay ideas, but somehow I'm not amazed as much as reviewers and previewers were. I also miss the dive-jumping.

I also want to start playing Persona 4 soon.

Preordered Madworld. (Former) Clover studios are ANGRY because you assholes didn't buy enough copies of God Hand. And the result... is fabulous. I'm also really looking forward to Bayonetta, cause who doesn't love a Devil May Cry-esque game (by the original inventor of the DMC-game and with it the genre, that is!) with a girl whose clothes disappear when she does special moves? WHO DOESN'T LOVE THAT?

Anyway... Played the FEAR 2 demo, kick ass. Monolith <3 So after playing that I remembered that I bought Condemned so I played a bit of that, awesome also, though it's quite interesting to see the different level of polish between these two titles, in every aspect (graphics, controls, presentation, etc.). Even so, so far I think the Condemned storytelling seems much more subtle and interesting compared to FEAR 2.

I still don't understand how everyone likes the F.E.A.R. series. The first one was clunky, looked bad, controlled even worse, and really didn't have any good storytelling elements, as well as not even being scary besides like 4 or 5 jump scares. I played the demo for 2 and its basically the same thing with better graphics. Condemned is run on the same engine, it just doesn't have many guns and the storytelling is fantastic, and just those things alone make the game ten times better.

I didn't like FEAR at all either (it's my least favorite Monolith game aside from The Sequel That Must Not Be Mentioned), but the FEAR 2 demo was really enjoyable. I never had a problem with any controls in any Monolith game, they are always really good. Monolith is basically one of the best Western developers still around. It is kinda puzzling how a team of such great writers (NOLF is probably the best-written FPS ever) can go on to make such a trite work as FEAR, for sure.

FEAR 2 is one of the two games (the other one being FEAR 1...) I'd want to play, but played the demo and I know i'm not capable of doing so...
I just hate being scared to (near) death, no matter if it's in rl, games or movies. =/

Also, waiting for Street Fighter IV.

I finished the first episode of Quake, ported to DS. This was my first extensive experience with Quake, save for a few deathmatches back in Quake's prime day (where, needless to say, I was getting owned pretty badly by mates who did nothing but played DM all day long). And I still say it sucks and is utterly rotting-green-brown dull and boring. Doom for life! I'll admit though that gameplay-wise it's still one of better DS titles I tried so far, even with slightly crippled controls (no rocketjumping, lol).

I'm also wasting unspeakable amounts of time on Animal Crossing, although luckily the novelty is wearing off, and recently I even allowed myself to neglect it to the point one of the animals moved out. I'm guessing I will get into it more again once I start playing online. I must say though I'm damn proud of my Hard Gay cosplay:

Posted Image :wheely:

I'm also playing Ouendan on and off, which is mighty fun, but I hate it because it keeps reminding me how rhythmically challenged I am.

If anyone didn't notice, I'm a fresh and excited DS user (better late than never). :wheely:

Pokemon Diamond, and Ouendan kind of on and off as well. I can't get myself to hunker down and beat that last level.

I enjoy the Pokemon games way, way too much. My team looks so bad-ass this time. I actually had a color scheme thing where I only fought with blue/purple/black pokemon, but I have a hard time resisting Ponyta anytime I find it, so my theme is RUIIIINED.

I think it's because I got so excited when I was 12 and found one in Pokemon Blue. That is so sad.

Also, I named one of them Bacon, which makes it great when a foe uses foresight.

MACHOKE IDENTIFIED BACON!

Here. I don't have any RAM expansion yet so I couldn't try Q2, but it's there too. For the record, Doom port is here. It's fully playable too, however I can't get used to the controls (might be just a matter of tweaking the settings though).

Weren't you talking about how bad SF4 was going to be and how amazing KoFXII was going to be? :) SF4 looks amazing and I keep hearing the opposite about KoFXII now.

Since it's made by Capcom and their record with their older franchises is spotty to say the least, I wasn't too sure about SF4. However, I have to say it looks... well, it looks like shit but it also looks like it's really fun to play. I don't know why it has to be so ugly though, maybe it's to scare girls away from playing it. But anyway, KOF XII is going to be awesome also, so I don't know who you're talking to but they need to be lobotomized. Probably KOF fanboys who are moaning that the roster isn't big enough.

I tried the Halo Wars demo... I guess RTS games haven't really changed much since Total Annihilation/Starcraft. I'd rather play either of those than Halo Wars, frankly. It did sport one of the least believable British accents I ever heard, so there's that. If that's indicative of the quality of voice acting across the Halo franchise, I'm glad I never got into it.

A bunch of random hardcore FG players I talk to say it's going to be terrible, despite that it's really pretty to look like. I can't say I exactly know, because I don't really follow SNK games.

And SF4 looks perfectly FINE. >:( Have you seen the facial animation screencaps? They're incredible.

Street Fighter 4 sucks in the arcade, but I'll buy the home version just for Cammy. And the new KoF game will still rock your ass silly.

Who are you asking ?

'Any of you' - don't be stupid.

Apparently it's a WWII combat flight simulator coming out for the handhelds (PSP, DS) as well as 360, PS3.

Is it any good?

One of the best flight simulators since it's very accurate and realistic for example you can only go up on a certain altitude and stall like in real life so its challenging as well. You can play on any side of the war too. I'm not sure what it's gonna turn out like on the hand helds and the consoles since you pretty much need Rudder Pedals, and a Joystick. (I have both :D )

Actually it's quite fun. The most experienced players play all around the world and even pilots play it. Now if your not into challenges you can make the game easy so you dont die at all, but seriously wheres the fun in that if you keep winning?
