The latest single. Fifth Japanese single, titled "Beautiful Hangover."
Not as great as their past Japanese singles. "Gara Gara GO!!" was awesome, and their whole Japanese album was amazing.

So, since I am so in love with 2NE1, I decided to give other YG artists a chance. GD and TOP have been doing things, and despite knowing nothing about BIG BANG, I love them.

THIS VIDEO.

There's sexy ladies and puppies and bubble wrap and TOP reading Mama Makes Up Her Mind. The entire video is gifworthy (and has been made into gifs already over at omona and tumblr). I'll spare you and stick with a reasonable number:





High High ruled too. In fact, I liked the song much more. The MV really can't compare, though.

That's exactly what I was thinking Korea is just weird like that I guess. That music video was really weird and random though, but it was fun to watch. And TOP's chair xD

Maybe it's code for "lemme motorboat them sweater puppies" in Korea. Bubble bubble. Combo.

One of their other promo tracks for this cycle got banned also, but only by one channel. Hilariously, I understand this being offensive far more than I do being scandalized be the words "Knock Out."

You should check out Big Bang. I still haven't heard all of their stuff, but random stuff they do is pretty great.
Did you see the collab they did with 2NE1 when 2NE1 first debuted? Start there for an intro/segue. My favorite song of theirs is Lies.

Following GD&TOP, Seungri released his mini-album called "VVIP." AKP has kindly listed all the tracks and so forth so click here if you want to listen to them.

I personally think the album is alright, it's just that I find some songs slightly boring and well American pop sounding? But one of the tracks features IU so that's pretty cool

"Lollipop" was really my exposure to Big Bang. I had that song on repeat for HOURS. My grandmother was probably ready to claw her ears off.
My first song was "Haru Haru, though" (ironic, I know), but I really wasn't *that* into it. I like it some now, but it's still nothing compared to "Lollipop."
Other choice songs (in my opinion) are "Hallelujah," "So Beautiful," and their entire Japanese language album.

I'm so bad though. I don't know which one Seungri is.

The double standard on Omona is absolutely incredible. These girls are RAUNCHY. If the dudes all commented like this on a SNSD or KARA video they'd get the internet beatdown for being objectifying pig-faced superpervs.

Big Bang is resuming Japanese activities in April. Single, then a little tour. Should be good. :)

Neither of them do it for me. GD would seem like potentially less of a jerk than TOP, but I could still see him being kind of one. Also he's tiny; I would not feel like a delicate lady.

TOP has a good voice, though, I will give him that much. That's still not enough for me to put up a poster of him in my room and leave him lipstick kisses like sadude does.

I think this album is most definitely one of their better ones, but I'm looking forward to their Japanese release.
