Sigh. Why is it the one HP group I wouldn't go halfway across the country to see? Still, it's a lot closer than the West coast. If MM or C-ute don't schedule any US events for 2010, I'll possibly go.

Crap, why did I make such lavish promises that if H!P came to the USA again this summer I'd be sure to go?
Because I felt sure it would be C-ute, that's why.
Is it worth going even though I saw them at SakuraCon this year already? :whatthe:

I want to go to this so bad, but I'll be back in Australia by then, maybe I'll just make Maasa some lovely handmade gifts and get someone whose going to give it to her.

Are they allowed to accept gifts?

If Muhammad won't go to the mountain, the mountain must come to Muhammad. I didn't make Seattle, so they decided to come closer to accommodate me. How sweet of them.

Hallelujah! Now I've gotta see if I can wangle an interview. :danceman:

Madara, I...uhm. Is "wangle" some old school slang us newbies on the scene haven't heard yet? :whatthe: Because I'm picturing very dirty things.

It's an old press term used by reporters trying to beat their competition. Here's a Google definition:
"Obtain (something that is desired) by persuading others to comply or by manipulating events."

Not quite how I got the Morning Musume interview back in July 2009, but close. I had to work to get that one.

I thought it was wrangle not wangle? I guess I learned my vocabulary for the day. I was saying it wrong all these years? 8o

Oh gosh- it's on the East Coast this time so I can actually go. It's only a 7-9 hour drive from Canada, and I've been wanting to visit New York again too. The only thing is I'm really afraid of the humidity! Is it really hot in June? I was in the area in August last time and almost got heat stroke. :-(

It's not like you live in the North Pole, do you? Weather around these parts is always fickle. It could be nice, it could be rainy or a blister 90 degree day. All up to luck of the draw. My vote is on hot and bothered with a chance of rain just to screw with your good times.

It really depends! I went to New York a few times, and there's only a few degrees difference from Montréal weather. I don't think it's a big deal!

I'm so jealous of you guys, always getting the nice concerts. Too bad I work a lot during summer!

Walp.

I might go to this one - I've completely forgotten what summer is like and might be within a better travelling distance. Plus, it's actually at a better time when school's out.

But I still have this feeling C-ute is heading to SakuraCon. They're the next ones in terms of seniority.

Berryz are worth the possible heat stroke.

We should make a list of who is going and who isn't. And who is on the fence.

Though I highly suggest figuring it out now because pre-reg is still open and it's only $40 for a 3day pass. And that usually jumps pretty high after pre-reg.

Ouch ouch ouch, so wait. You need to get into Weeabooland to get to the concert? Wasn't Sakuracon free?
Not surte if not want.

It's never like that in early June. Don't worry about it.

@PQ let's make a list then of attendees then~ Confirming I'll be there 100%. ♥

We now have a video now from Berryz Kobo with their announcement! Chinami's been studying~~ :

I guess I'll pre-register since 40 bucks isn't too bad if something else comes up and I miss it, but I'm worried that if I book a room beforehand and don't go it would be a pain.

The hotel room thing kinda sucks because I'm going away in Feb/March and need to save money for that.

So um... someone want to share a hotel room with me?

Al, you can cancel your reservation fee-free up to the day you'd be staying there~~ Just book it!

EDIT-
PQ, if you need a room, you can stay with meeee~~ (if you don't mind penises in the room) It's my fiancee, myself, and a possibly friend I made from the Berryz concert. He's a rad non-weeaboo dude. It'd be roughly $70 if he goes, or $90 if it's just us 3.
