It's back to the mature musume that I love, but can Riho please learn how to not yell sing? She doesn't belt out her notes, she yells.
Somehow some of the musical breaks remind me of dub step.

Well, that's the problem. She HAS to yell to get those notes out. She doesn't have the vocal power to do it by singing. I bet she'll be talking like an old man again after this concert.

Ugh, UFA I'm disappointed in you. I thought you would've taken care of her after the last tour. What's the point in bringing in a vocal coach for auditions if it's "fukitol" after?

I was hoping they would have given the 10th gen some more lines kinda like Only You, but I was sadly mistaken. I guess Tsunku doesn't think the 10th gen are ready to handle solo lines yet?

I just assumed it was the traditional 'only front girls get lines' situation, rather than 10th gen's lack of ability.

I love it!!! And I loved it on the very first listen, too, which doesn't happen to me very often. Part of the song seems really familar; maybe that's why I like it so much. I'm sad that there are no lines for Haruka, but maybe next time. With Risa gone, they're going to need her awesome singing skills. Anyway, I think this could be one of the best MM singles (for me) in years. It totally makes up for Pyoko Pyoko.

The more I hear a lack of 10th gen it makes me wonder if they are doing with them what they did with the 4th gen and 5th gen. You know, keeping them in the background and not letting them do much. At least that's the only reason I can see why they wouldn't be breaking them in yet. Even in the new concert they don't get much to sing. (At least from what I can hear.)

Yeah but 9th gen didn't have a whole H!P concert before their debut Musume concert under their belt like the 10th gen do. I'm expecting great things for the 50th single at this rate since they are keeping them under wraps.

Holy shit. Though this is only a rip, it sounds like a total first-rate Musume song. I'm so happy my Risa is going to be going out on a high note! 
I'm loving the random dubstep inspired instrumental breaks. If I were to get my hopes up, I'd be praying to see an edge to Morning Musume that has never been seen before...
...Then again history demonstrates that about %50 of the PV will just be Reina winking and looking at the camera as innocently as possible, with Sayu and Riho standing next to her on either side in the dance shot front and center the entire time in front of Risa - who is dancing in the background with the rest of the 10th Gen not being noticed despite the good deal of solo lines she has.

I didn't hear them, either, except in the songs that were 9th/10th gen exclusive. It was pretty disappointing. At least everyone in 9th gen got featured in a special performance in their first Morning Musume concert (Moonlight Night, Rainbow Pink, Sungoi My Birthday). 10th gen didn't even get to sing Suki na Senpai all the way through.

YESSSSS! This sounds so promising! Robo Sayu is great! I'm not sure how I feel about the Optimus Prime and Megatron orgy in the background, but this is freakin' sweet. I have the desire to overuse exclamation points after listening to the concert rip.

I don't know how you guys get so much out of concert rips, so far I'm just hearing a lot of noise. 
That's not to say I think it's bad or good, I just can't ever get a read on songs from concert rips.
I do hope that what sounds like Optimus Prime, as Enmiz awesomely put it, inspires some high precision rapid-fire dance moves. You know, that challenge Tsunku mentioned. I can dream.

You should have heard the first rip, it was a beautiful thing. Not a wota in the whole rip. But it disappeared as quickly as it came. :<

Maybe that was intentional, considering this is Risa's last single? But if the album covers come out half as interesting as the Mr.Moonlight ones I'll be surprised.
As an aside, looking at the album cover for Mr.Moonlight they did a generational thing with the stars on the collar being different for each generation. (Yay fun fact!)

Uh-oh, this is sounding eurobeat. This is the slippery slope, people. Yeah, it's got the Tsun-krillex SFX thing and a dubstep moment, but this shit is eurobeat. Listen to that main synth.
That said, it's one of MM's best songs in a loooong time.

Hearing everyone talk about the dubstep element of the song worried me, but after listening to it, I actually like how it sounds. I was probably going to buy the single anyways, but now I have a reason beyond it being Risa's last song.

Okubo's arrangement work, definitely. He's done at least one track on every MM single since Seishun Collection. That's seven singles including this one, and there's almost two more, but Onna ga Medatte interrupts it. (he also has a bunch of stuff on the recent albums)
