New auditions announced at 8/9 Hello! Con performance. Looking specifically for KSS and KSS Hokkaido.

Application Requirements:
• Female, living in Japan, enrolled in the fifth grade of elementary school up to age 22 as of October 1, 2026.
• Must appear on television, the internet, and other media outlets during the audition process.
• Must be able to sign an affiliation contract after passing the audition.
• Must have the ability to relocate to Tokyo if they live far away from there.

• Application Deadline: October 1, 2026

No requirement that applicants not be currently signed to an entertainment contract with a different company, only that they be able to sign with UF if they pass. I'm happy they're looking to bring KSS Hokkaido back, too.

KSS Hokkaido would be really great. Anything for more girls being able to take lessons without commuting to Tokyo regularly.
Generally speaking I'm still hoping for a new MM generation soon. Even without her injury Miki won't stay forever, and they still need a really good singer (no matter how good Hanano will turn out to be). We do have a few good ones in the current KSS, but doesn't hurt to pick one from a new audition as well.
