Re: Joss Whedon & Eliza Dushku present Dollhouse
I think they did actually order a full 13, though it remains to be seen if they'll actually air them all. But it's likely they would since they're not really losing anything by airing something they already have on a Friday night. It's doing well enough from an advertising standpoint. I just watched...

Re: Kago's Third Time is NOT the Charm
To me it looks like they divorced awfully quickly. It's not really the kind of thing you do overnight. Considering the overall culture of marriage in Japan, it wouldn't shock me if they had already been planning to get divorced for a while, and he just happened to start something with Kago before th...

Re: Teach Us About Some New Music
Thanks for that! I really like them so far. Speaking of semi-traditional stuff, one of my favorite groups ever would have to be Rin'. They're three women who sing and play traditional instruments, but with modern arrangements and stuff, and just all around kind of amazing. My favorite of theirs, Sak...

Re: Teach Us About Some New Music
One singer that I really love is Natsukawa Rimi. She's sort of an Okinawan folk singer, iunno. xD Her song, Nadasousou , became a HUGE hit several years ago (although it is a cover, hers is the most famous). It's a little quiet and um, restful, but her voice really makes it gorgeous. A lot of her mu...

I hope she gets a VA role that doesn't require the idol voice. Then if they still make her sing, hopefully it won't be Kirari-style anymore. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />

It's during prime concert and event season in Japan as well, which is of course where H!P actually makes their money, so they have to be getting paid pretty well to schedule a weekend to come to the U.S.

I think it's just for the hell of it. They got invited, it makes them look good to say they're big enough to tour in other countries, so they accepted.

I guess I'm being a little harsh, the sex scenes aren't generally the focus of her stories, but they are uh... used pretty liberally.
