Re: Lady-Rise - SWEET BLACK ft. Maki Goto
I don't think throwing her in with other acts is all that different from having her perform on television without releases. I was viewing these semi-releases as a way to get her into public consciousness before they release the big debut. Because if this was as big as it got, then that wouldn't be c...

Re: [PV] Mano Erina's Otome no Inori
I'm not exactly sure which part of her voice you're referring to. Her voice does odd (I'd say "cute" but others might say "bad") things even when live, so it could be that quality of her voice or it could be some tinkering. While I'm pretty certain they're correcting plenty of he...

Re: [PV] Mano Erina's Otome no Inori
It's amazing what multiple camera cuts can do to a video. It's better than what my low expectations thought they could do with the song, but they managed to make a semi-interesting video (or perhaps not mind-numbingly boring?), at least in terms of playing the game of "what clothes will she wea...

Two antonyms "connect" and "cut" combined to make a state name.

Yeah, they use it live. My favorite story is about Kanye West cursing at a heckler at one of his shows.... but his autotune was turned on, so his anger was very melodious. His defenders say he was free-styling, but "eat shit and die" just doesn't sound the same under auto-tune.

It was never licensed. It just ended up on amazon and some wanna-be reporter happened to see it and made a big stink. Amazon is so automated that virtually anything can be sold there if someone wants to. The screenshot of Amazon on that blog makes it clear that it was just a couple of marketplace se...

Now for $2.97 you too can legally own a lossy copy of Naichau Kamo ! Or you can pick and choose to not buy the instrumental track or the a-side! Of course it's not really $2.97. It's actually 3 credits at one credit per song. And, of course, you must buy 10 credits at minimum. Hooray, JapanFiles!

Well. I hope the Anime Expo has at least learned something from their horrible Momoi Haruko debacle. Although I suppose I didn't hear about any problems last year with Shokotan. But this will certainly be much bigger for the event to have to deal with.
