Koharu will be back in MM soon enough. They'll realize they forgot to bring a can opener and will need to put those jacked teeth to work.

Re: MM was on Utaban...sort of

In Japan, OG typically means "Original Generation," but in MM's case it seems to apply to former members (Although personally I wouldn't apply it for the 5th gen and on). It also means Original Gangsta, which Yuko totally is. And, Yuko, if you're reading this, I'd be more than happy to be ...

Re: MM was on Utaban...sort of

Because if there were no OGs still around, I imagine there are tons of fans who wouldn't bother giving two shits about MM at all. Unless you were a fan back in the early 00's, you can't possibly fathom just how HUGE and all pervasive they were in Japanese popular culture at the time. I like the curr...

Misono was really chubby then she went on a diet and got all toned and sexay, so that particular picture was part of her "See, I'm hot like my sister!" comeback.

Didn't need it though. She's 10 times cuter than that guttertramp skank.

Let's see... Legendary OG MM members from back when they were a cultural phenomenon and Utaban was entertaining, or interchangeable idol girls whom 99% of the population couldn't identify... I wonder who's gonna get more screen time? Yeah, I'm being a bit harsh on the current members, but it's still...

I can't deny Avatar anything for visual effects, but how in the hell is it nominated for anything else? It was a goddamn tech demo for Cameron's Battle Angel Alita project, and that's it! District 9 is the one I wish would win, but I wouldn't be upset if the Hurt Locker took it. And I thought the an...

I'm thinkin' the bomb created two separate realities/timelines and part of the season might have to do with either merging them, or having to choose which one to wipe out.

Also, I'm betting the Artist-Formerly-Know-As-Locke is actually an incarnation of X-men villain Apocalypse.

It's true. MM has a blatant lack of a boyish truck-drivin' dyke member, especially since Yossie left and Miki threw everyone off by actually marrying a guy.

Yeah, but I think I read somewhere that the average Australian cup size was DD or something redonkulous like that. Of course, that's probably relating to the America-rivaling obesity levels there and not buxom bikini clad lasses.

Being snowed in gave me plenty of time to finish up Mass Effect 2. Epic ending, but even at just under 40 hours it felt too short since I did all the available side quests. Now for the painful 2+ year wait for the finale of the trilogy... Don't know what's next. I loved Bioshock, but have been extre...

Re: Maki Goto's mom has killed herself

To be fair, Japanese buildings follow no logic. My house in Japan had a full-sized sliding window, like a patio door, in the bedroom on the second floor that opened directly to a six inch ledge that supported the second floor air-conditioning unit, with no railing whatsoever, leading to a 20 foot dr...

The old woman owns the bar that her mom frequented and was drinking at the night it happened.

Here's a 20 minute long news report about the whole thing. Part One show the service and has interviews with Tsunku, Yuko, Kaori and Yossie. Dammit. Kei wrote a really nice post in her blog about her relationship with Maki and included the lyrics to I Wish to cheer her up. Now my eyes are watering up like a six year old girl with a skinned knee. Miki also had a touching post about the situation.

I just watched a news clip about the funeral service. Maki looks like she's just barely holding on. It was nice to see how many former members were there to support her, though. Nearly all the "Perfect Ten" were there.

I've been letting this sink in for a while, and I'm truly saddened.
