Re: [2016.02.17] Kobushi Factory - Sakura Night Fever / Chotto Muchoku ni! Chototsu Moushin / Osu! Kobushi Tamashii

I finally watched the Sakura Night Fever MV, and I feel a strange connection to it... because as part of a school presentation in 1st grade I had to dress up in a cardboard Christmas tree getup.

Is this an entirely new deal? Because something about it seemed very familiar, and I went on to find something on Wota in Translation about her using Proactiv nearly two years ago, which many responders thought sounded like stealth marketing.

Better late than never: the 3DS Rhythm Heaven was finally announced for release in NA and Europe, though there's not yet a more specific date than 2016.   Game-related, I've just learned of this YouTube channel which is worth a browse. All the videos are labeled as if they're regular game songs, but...

I never watch the Oscars, but I did last night watch the On Cinema live Oscar special. CG resurrection of a dead son, DNA testing to see if an old man was James Dean, thrown sandwiches, competitions refereed by Joe Estevez... what an experience.

Re: Movies

Just saw Zoolander 2. It can never be the original again, and as with many comedy sequels it sometimes tried to hard to recreate or outdo some bit from the original, but I laughed a lot. If you enjoyed the original for its exaggerated stupidity, there's a lot more of that to be found here.

Re: TV thread!

Re X-Files stuff without quoting:   Yeah, I've generally been enjoying it too. Were-Monster especially was pretty great--it was always a bummer that writer wasn't around for the original run past the third season.   Season 10 is I think because that's how Fox started referring to it on its website--...

Re: UFP/OG Spam Thread :: All things non-Hello!Project Related!

I wonder. The Wii Rhythm Heaven game came out in 2011, which is before at least some of those people were in NGP Kenshuusei. Without doing intense comparison the track sounded mostly the same as the version I'd heard before, with a few additional voiceover parts. But I guess especially with somethin...

I watched X-Files from near the beginning, though eventually fell out of it. In the last few years restarted it, and finally recently got caught up through the last season and movie. Re: The Star Wars thread

Something I've been thinking about that is a bit tangential to The Force Awakens itself. There seems to be more major non-movie content than ever; it seems like Marvel has a dozen Star Wars comics going on, for instance. But unlike the last trilogy, it doesn't seem like they're leaving themselves ro...

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~

It struck me that 2015 made something of a reversal in terms of amount of content for various groups. A few years ago it might be that thanks to crazy amounts of different B-sides for different editions, a Morning Musume single might have nearly as many new songs as other groups got in a year. Last ...
