Re: Joss Whedon & Eliza Dushku present Dollhouse

Still waiting to stumble across the season 1 blu-ray box set, so I haven't seen the unreleased episodes. I loved episode 1 of season 2, but the second episode was kind of blah.

Oh yes, and this is fun: http://www.fox.com/dollhouse/virtualecho/

Re: The New Official J-Drama Thread!

Yeah, towards the last episode, I thought they'd pull some thing where his mom finally goes to one of his games and meets the coach.

Re: The New Official J-Drama Thread!

Yeah, there's nothing beyond the current Juri Ueno mini-series that has me interested in the upcoming season.

I'm actually surprised the Coach in BB turned out to be a genuinely nice guy. I was just waiting for him to try and force himself on Riko or screw Naoki over somehow.

My friends and I are probably the most immature 30-somethings on the planet, and therefore this is the funniest thing we've seen in a long time! (NSFW due to naughty language and hot primate action)

Re: What are you playing?

I don't care about the systems, it's the GAMES that I love. And by hating on either the 360 or PS3 you're missing some great games. Granted, the PS3 has far less than the 360, but the good ones really stand out. Uncharted 2, for example, is at the top of my most anticipated of October list. Except f...

Re: Koharu Graduating From H!P

Sayumi is a comic genius with an extremely sharp wit and brilliant timing, and she'll be able to go completely mainstream like Mai Satoda has whenever she leaves MM. Hell, her and Mai would make an awesome manzai duo. Koharu... Well, at least she's cute. Surprised no one's mentioned the article/pict...

Re: What are you playing?

Damn you November! Come faster so I can play the greatest PSP game EVER!!! And, no, I refuse to pay full price for the glorified DLC that is ODST. If I can get it for 20 bucks eventually, I will, but since I dislike non co-op multiplayer and the story mode is only like 5 hours, I'll pass until then.

Re: The New Official J-Drama Thread!

Finished up Mop Girl. What a fun, wacky little series, but now I'm really interested in just what Momoko could do with her powers given a few years of practice. Just started the live action version of Jigoku Shojo. It's pretty much a blatant ripoff of Skyhigh, but that's fine since Skyhigh is by far...

Sakura Taisen is still the king of all dating sims. You flirt with cute girls and then blow shit up in PSIONIC STEAMPUNK POWER ARMOR!!!

I heard some company was localizing one of the games in the series, but it looks to be the not-so-good last one set in the US.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Yeah, Batman AA is a better overall game, but nothing's more fun than having a team with Spider-Man and Deadpool smack-talking every thug you come across.

The MMO Dungeons and Dragons Online has been made completely free to play, so I'm checking that out. It's not bad at all. If you're a free player, there's a lot of stuff you have to unlock through playing it that subscribers get right out of the gate, but they've gone on record as saying that there'...

Returner's a classic. It's like Terminator meets ET with a healthy dose of Hong Kong action. Plus, Mizuguchi is the coolest, most evil villain ever. It's especially amusing that his actor usually plays kind, loving fathers. I finished Last Friends and I'm not sure what to think. It's good, but extre...

Disney buys Marvel comics

So, yeah, apparently Disney just bought Marvel Comics for 4 billion dollars. I'm pretty damn worried about what this means, especially with regards to some of their better movie franchises. I really don't want to see Disney coming in a fucking up Iron Man 2 or the various upcoming Avengers related m...
