Re: What are you playing?

Finished Resident Evil 5 over the weekend, and now I'm going back and collecting all the emblems and upgrading my weapons.

Re: Joss Whedon & Eliza Dushku present Dollhouse

Not a terrible show, but far less "Whedon" than anything else he's done. I want snappy dialogue, not blank slate girl.

PS. More sideboob, plz.

Re: Futurama -- Final movie out

Well, considering how the recent straight to DVD movies were completely shit and never even came close to the awesomeness that was the TV series, it's no big loss.

Re: Battlestar Galactica

I don't really consider them filler at all. It seems that every little detail is building towards something.

And yes, I too would gladly bring about the Galactica's downfall for a little quality time with Boomer. Plus, Kara boobies.

Re: Street Fighter 4

I'd kill to fight an Akuma. I've yet to see one. Instead, it's 75% (horrible) Ken players. I appreciate the free win, but you're allowed to lose with other characters, you know?

Re: Street Fighter 4

I've always used Ryu, but decided to stay away from him for a while. When I know I've got a lagless connection I use Cammy since I need precise timing with her. Most other times I break out my homeboy Edmund. I've been having fun with Sakura against the computer, to I might start playing her as well...

Re: Street Fighter 4

Not on no 360 controller it ain't. You need to get yourself an arcade stick, or at the very least a fighting pad. P3 controller isn't horrible though.

Re: Street Fighter 4

Been playing it online and when the connection's good it's great. When it's not it feels like playing underwater though. I've been kicking surprising amounts of ass with good ol' Honda.

Re: Street Fighter 4

Generic? I think you children need a history lesson... With the possible exception of Karate Champ, Street Fighter is the father of the fighting genre. The far flung year of 1987 is when it came out. It's older than 90% of the HP members. When SF2 came out in the early 90's it was responsible for br...

Man, I wouldn't fuck that chick with a stolen dick and blame it on an 8 year old.

Re: Street Fighter 4

Well since it's been simplified for the most part back to the SF2 basics, it's a bit more entry level friendly than most fighters have been in the last decade, so new fans could probably pick it up. Personally I've been a fan since the original arcade machine. And I've got both versions although I p...

Street Fighter 4

Got the PS3 version of SF4 today . Pisses me off. I'm installing it to the HD now because the load times take longer than the fights. Also not happy that I have to unlock the characters I want to play by using ones I would never willingly touch otherwise. Hope the 360 version loads a little faster s...

Battlestar Galactica

So the last of the final 10 episodes started to air this weekend and HOLY CRAP! The show never fails to turn everything on its side and keep people guessing. I'll be sad to see it go but at least it'll get a proper ending and not drag on and on. There's a whole lot to be spoiled about the recent epi...

Re: Best Music Moments of 2008

All I gotta say is Idol of the Year- Ranka Lee! Yoko Kanno and the Macross folks came up with such awesome music for Macross Frontier and were able to hit all the bases with both cute idol pop (Ranka) and the whole ero-kakoii thing with Sheryl. The special medley duet with the two of them that combi...

Re: Your 2008 Game of the Year

3. Lost Odyssey- Just an all around well-made old-school RPG with some extremely good writing. 2. Metal Gear Solid 4- Sure it might be a bit convoluted, but it had the highest production values of any game I had ever seen and was a blast to play. 1. Wrath of the Lich King- Yeah, I really liked WoW b...
