She's actually been super active in the musical scene and even spent quite a bit of time in New York training for it.
 
She's never released anything since starting that though, so it's nice to finally see something people outside of Japan can enjoy.

I feel like Sakura's been falling back on her cutesy voice a lot lately (Sou Ieba from her birthday life is the biggest offender). If that's what she's gonna go for from now on, the group doesn't need her.

It's also possible some of the coincidences are because that this person is a Kanon fan.

I'd also say her voice should have gotten deeper with age, but that singer had a higher tone.

I'm mostly skeptical because that singer sounds too good. Kanon did have potential, but she never realized it while in the group, so to sound like that now would mean serious training after graduation.

If they're making studio recordings, there's no reason not to release a cover album...

To the surprise of no one, MM's spring tour has been fully cancelled.

Yeah, it's probably more that the company tried out the song with both of them and ended up liking both versions.

I don't remember it ever being mentioned on this site, but she will be getting a BD/DVD release in March for her solo tour.
 
Even Sayu didn't get a BD for her solo concert.

Their previous tour was short on songs as well.

There were times last year or the year before when half of MM were wearing sneakers instead of heels.  They should just embrace it.

Even without those events, I don't think they really knew what to do with her. I thought it was pretty clear from the start that she didn't belong with Rhythm Zone.

Maybe Masaki is a special case because they have to manage her moods, but they would have made her start releasing photobooks a lot earlier if that's the case. They're leaving a lot of money on the table there.
