Yeah, I love that so much J-pop is on Apple music, but it's so damn annoying that it doesn't have its own section. I pretty much only find new stuff when it pops up in my "For you" section.

There's a Twitch channel that just started streaming nothing but the amazing Japanese show Game Center CX, and I literally can't stop watching. I've been here for 7 hours...

If you have Netflix and type "Japanese" into the search, it'll bring up all their dramas, movies and anime. There's quite a few choices there.

I think Takahashi was way out in front of them, so most probably got help getting set up from her.

I don't know if it's the same one, but Meimi is also doing something LILIUM related.

Can we talk about how crazy awesome Dawa is? She went from the weird girl in S/mileage to a world traveller getting her Masters to become a museum curator, with published books on art history and art theory, who is also currently at the front of a new Japanese feminist movement.

She's played in a few celebrity events and on several shows. I haven't paid too much attention to her scores but she's not terrible, especially off the tee. She can hit the ball like a truck. She may have been able to go pro if she chose golf over MM when she was younger.

Maki Goto has been doing a Youtube gaming show and she talked a little about her weight gain and loss when she was around 17 in a recent episode.

And here is the latest of Chisaki's Youtube series where she tries to get good at Smash Bros. Take-chan is her opponent this time.

They were good enough live. To be fair, I never heard them in a "real" venue beyond a small live house. All their stuff was pretty much things like in store events with minimal sound setups.

Oh man, Harenchi Punch... Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I went to pretty much every event they did early on because they were local to where I was in Japan.

Yeah, I literally have no idea who any of them are.

I seem to recall stopping the first one in the UFO palace. I'll start up Royale after I get through Nioh 2. Finished Resident Evil 3 over the weekend.

Granblue Fantasy VS is showing up today, my first new game of 2020. Otherwise I've just been playing Overwatch and Final Fantasy 14 occasionally.

I reinstalled Witcher 3 after finishing the show. I played Control over Xmas and it's probably my game of the year.

It's also insane that she's going to be 30 in 3 days. She still could pass for a teenager.

I just wish they would have at least given her a mic. Everything sounds so wrong with only one of them doing the various backing chants.
