I still haven't seen any of the new girls in action, except for Haruka, nor any of the audition footage. I'm familiar with Haruka from her stint as an Egg in the winter H!P concert where she managed to stand out in a crowded field. So on the basis of that, I think she's a good choice. Remember?

They may take action in the live performances of the H!P single.I know they'll be on Music Japan and Hey! Hey! Hey! sometime in October.

I don't think it would take them that long to learn to sing and dance to one song? And it isn't like they'd get any lines so they really don't have to sing it, they'd probably be shoved in the back with the s/mileage sub's and Aika. (If Aika ever comes back that is.)

10th gen color guessing time!!

Left over main colors (meaning no shades ex: dark green)...Orange & Yellow.



Haruna - White or Teal

Haruka - Orange

Ayu - Yellow (she's got a yellow wristband on in her picture as well)

Masaki - Blue



Maybe they'll add another shade of purple in there since Aika might leave soon with all her injuries.

There's a rumor that something with Karin will be announced on 10/16. That's also the day where they'll decide which S/mileage sub-member becomes a full member. Karin and the Rejects? Hell, make Uggles the full member just so I can have an epic Akari, Karin, Kana, Meimi group!

I saw a couple of Masaki's model pictures too. And Ayumi was apparently a Dorothy Little Happy backup dancer (and so was one of the girls who didn't make it. I think it was Fuuka).

I thought as much, because as much as I adore Karin, she's still far too young for a solo career. Making a new group would be nice to counter balance the two older groups with Morning Musume still being the central group.



Though I really would love to have another H!P soloist. I was so hoping Yuu would be it, but I guess not.

So, really, there's no one who's completely inexperienced in 10th gen (although Masaki doesn't seem like she was modeling long before her audition). She's really cute, though. I think she's my favorite for now.

In my personal opinion, they're a far more promising generation in terms of vocals than 9th gen are. If that helps you at all.

Kanon loves 10th gen. The fan accounts I saw said she was super excited when they were announced.



Also if anyone wants to see more pictures of Haruna and Ayumi (much more flattering pictures I might add) there's tons up on the picboard over at H!O already. And I see that Haruka is bringing wonky teeth back to Morning Musume for now. Every group needs someone with funky teeth.

For whatever reason, I actually think her dumbass duck lip pose looks good here. Everyone looks great, despite how hideous Risa's hair and those outfits are - I like the tiny hats, however.

Mizuki looks like Aubrey Plaza and it's kind of freakin' me out, not gonna lie.

Yea, I agree. And Tsunku said that the 10th gen will be more on finding the new main vocals for MM. So vocally, they are definitely better. About the future of MM with them in it? Well, I guess we just need to wait for it then.
