Either way, I liked Haruka the most out of the auditionees who won when I rewatched the clips, so I have high hopes for her. And I love Kanon, so it'd be great if she could leak some of her comic genius into the junkies to get some good personality in with a (finally) more vocal-oriented generation.

The only one I approve of right now is Haruka. She is basically the only one with a sense of pitch at this point, plus she is adorable. She reminds me of Eririn. I am pleased. I see potential in all of them, but only time will tell.

Yea, Haruna sounds like her. It could be her voice.
All I know is that I am liking the 10th generation. The rest are fine too actually.
The future of MM is certainly looking a lot brighter after this graduation... hard to believe I'm saying that after Ai graduated but it feels really positive to me right now.
What would Morning Musume be without the underdog? That's what Masaki is for this generation, that's what Kanon was for the 9th, Sayumi for the 6th, Konno for the 5th, and Tsuji for the 4th. Sara would have been nice, but that ship sailed with Karin as the Captain and I'll support this Morning Musume and continuing to lament the lose of two people isn't going to change anything about this Musume. So it's best to let it go, like a band-aid.
Considering the improvements Masaki had in only a few weeks, I'll give her a benefit of a doubt. She can't be any worse the Koharu, and that's setting the bar as low as it'll go.

Haruna's gonna be bringing in the funky ass hairstyles like woah. Tying her hair into a bow, now that's some skillz. Reina, Tsuji and Sayumi are already jealous of such talents and can't believe they didn't think of it first.
Mizuki's reaction to Haruka was cute. Mizuki reminds me of a Kaori type, she just needs to let her awkward bird fly and she'll be loved by all.

Ayumi should keep her hair down at all times. It makes her look so much younger. That little interaction between her and Haruka was pretty cute too. Also glad that Haruka is bringing back some fangs into Morning Musume. All legit idol groups need some wonky teeth. I wonder if she'll ever get them fixed while in the group.
Haruna's hair bow sort of a la Lady Gaga was pretty cute. Her huge eyes and gummy smile make her look like a madwoman when she smiles, though. I can already tell Masaki is going to need a stylist trailing after her all the time until she gets older and can manage herself better. Also, her voice really bothered me when she spoke at the concert, but as long as she doesn't have to yell into a mic, I think I can bear it. I had to get used to Eripon's voice, I can do the same for Masaki.
Also, Mizuki hugging Haruka was too cute. And I think Masaki's my favorite 10th gen-er so far. She's so endearing.
Just watched the latest Hello! Pro time and had to wipe away the tears...
Haruna has gone from my 3rd to my 1st, I think she's actually a genuine character, tsunku gave the reasons why she's in the group and it isn't to be amazing at singing and dancing, Ishida and Haruka are going to be strong center members of the group, both have bag loads of confidence, character and talent, and time will have to tell with Masaki, although i did LOVE her reaction when she saw that she had passed the audition.
I really liked the 9th gen at the time they came in, but seriously... this 10th gen is EVEN better.
I think Risa said at the graduation that over half the group is new members now, at first I didn't like that idea but come to think about it, I really like the idea of getting to know a brand new Morning Musume.
The only question remains is...
How much longer will Aika last before someone takes that boot off her leg and gives HER the boot?
Damn Risa looks TIRED. I hope she isn't being overworked and over-stressed by all the change.
I like the new gen. Masaki has yet to grow on me...I mean, she still can't do anything right in that clip either. She's obviously forgetting lyrics for the 1 song they had to join in on. You know what was kind of odd? When Mizuki popped up at the end, I was surprised. I had completely forgotten that she was part of the group. My first thought was "oh that kid from Shugo Chara....wait a minute." Hm, that's not good.

As much as I love Mizuki, I did the same thing for the graduation speeches and said, "Awww, look at ninth gen's grad messages, so swee--oh, Mizuki. Gosh, I forgot about you."

I have to say, I was really struck my Masaki during the most recent HPT. She had a radiant smile and I loved her reaction to getting in (she didn't cry, which is a relief).
She seems to have a special charm that i didn't see during the auditions. Hopefully it will grow and develop over time.
Still bitter about Sara not getting in, but I like all four who did. So 10th gen is pretty much all win for me.
Haruna- She's the second coming of young Kaori, complete with all the geeky awkwardness. She also loves herself some Sayu and spends a lot of the time fangirling on her. She totally cries tears of joy when she gets to hug Sayu. Such a sweetheart.
Ayumi- I hate everything about her smug, arrogant, Yoda-faced, miniature 40-year old self. Please get gastro-anemia and disappear. Everything about her screams "fake." Congrats Reina! You're no longer my least favorite!
Masaki- Shy but super adorable. Don't see any hidden Erina-like weirdness or Riho devilishness yet, just a sweet little kid. Looks completely over her head at the moment. I would give her lots of hugs, and I'm sure Sayu will.
I think I remember reading somewhere, maybe tsunku's blog, that she was the next big thing or something like that.

Iikubo Haruna- Has a surprising "pure" personality. And her looks (face) are gorgeous. I believe she has the determination to bring her singing to a suitable level. That is why she passed.
Ishida Ayumi- Her singing and dancing were outstanding. Also, her personality is as firm as a stone (a play on the "ishi" in her last name). I believe the history of Morning Musume can be passed on to her from here on out. That is why she passed. (Sounds like he has really high expectations of Ayumi! Based on this, I expect her to pick up some of Ai-chan's old lines)
Sato Masaki- The level of her dancing and singing is below the other three now, but she has a potential (literally raw ore) that she has yet to realize herself. Also, her skill level rose considerably during the audition. That is why she passed.
Kudo Haruka- She has experience as an egg, and she really loves singing. Also, the "gap" between her face and her husky voice is interesting (basically, she looks tiny and cute, but she has a deep voice, and that's unusual). I hope that she can help to bring together the 10th generation members and the current members as soon as possible. (I guess because she's in 10th gen, and she's worked with current MM in the stage play) That is why she passed.
Does he really want to make Ayumi the front girl of 10th gen? I only know what I saw on 2ch, but I wasn't under the impression she was the fan favorite. It seemed like the other girls were more popular than her.
Maybe it's because Ayumi was basically a Riho clone.
Also I haven't watched 10th gen sans Haruka on ustream yet, but I heard Haruna cried when Sayumi hugged her. I approve because that's probably how I would react as well.
