I feel like they both got invited because of the "Ai wa Katsu" project got invited too. And since the "Ai wa Katsu" project got invited, current and ex-members of H!P will probably make an appearance. But, I am not complaining (but too happy) because Moritaka Chisato is going to perform as well. It's been forever since she made a public performance (if you don't count this year).

DMM and MM are already jokes (read: in the context of televised live performances). If it's DMM it's going to be LM, RR21, and/or The Peace. MM is no different, but they may start off doing their latest song as part of a medley to also include Sexy Boy, The Peace, and RR21 is yet another ungodly concoction.

Doing something different might just make people forget about them entirely.



I know the overall vocals are better in the case of DMM, but they basically tested this with Ongaku Gatas. It had former MM girls as leads, they kept the feel of the Golden Era, even got Dance Man back for one single, even threw in some young girls, but the only thing that the group accomplished was Mano Erina's solo career.



Dream Morning Musume is just a group about nostalgia, and giving the M-line something to do until they get pregnant & or married. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sad:' />



The sad part is, the general public wants those songs. When I see fan votes for songs in H!P concerts, mostly the really typical, safe, done to death stuff are selected.



It's hard to sell people on original material when they already have a connection to something specific. People are kind of boring, and this can influence the pop music industry. That's why I have very little hope in the industry as a whole.



Of course, I'll have a newly restored love for DMM...

Ugh I won't! I'll be like..well she was just shedding her idol image and working hard towards becoming a solo artist that people could take seriously, and now she's joined a group that is certain not to last as long as we all would like it to. No no no. It seems I am the only one who doesn't want that to happen though.

Very, very few people gave a shit about Maki as a "real artist." Her joining Dream MM would revitalize that group in everyone's eyes and dramatically boost their popularity.

My latest blog entry is about the DMM concert, so I'll say yes to adding Maki and an even bigger yes to adding Nono. And a big no to throwing Koharu out. I don't remember her dancing, but she wasn't half bad in terms of singing during the auditions. She's not going to wow anybody (but who does these days), but she isn't going to make their ears bleed either.

I like to think that any upbeat duo songs released after the scandal could have been a track from it. You have the GAM album... Rainbow Pink songs, Suki da na Kimi ga? Probably all used up by now though. Heck, maybe they were recreated as as TNX/ Rhythm Tengoku songs. Tsunku even admitted that the science level from the DS game was a Morning Musume tune that just didn't come together lyrically...



I just feel like they would have used the songs by now. We aren't talking about one Nacchi song that was withheld for 3 years, it's a whole album. Plus, the released singles only took up 2 spaces on the album, so that's a decent amount of ghost tracks. If they haven't been used, it would be amazing to hear those songs, especially now with how things sound in H!P.

Mic hacks from the 10th gen event the other day. Masaki's is really bad quality with a lot of interference but it gives you a very good idea of their voices.



I'm impressed, TBH. A lot better than those mic hacks of Tomo for 9th gen.

After a whole year, 9th gen are pretty much flawless. Though Kanon's lost a bit of her smile that I liked.

Rina, if you squint and turn your head, it doesn't look that bad? Hat is ugly though. It looks like she has a growth.

Haruna: Whoever told her to put her hair up should be shot. She looks so much prettier with her hair down.
