Ultra meh. Yuko and Yossie look pretty good, but their dancing is off in some places and there was something going on with these girls and the lip-sync. My guess is that they were probably confused about when to "sing" and actually sing their solos. Pretty much everyone (maybe not Koharu) has a solo line that comes in clear.



It's just sad that DMM will never be about the history of MM, but about the most popular hits. Merp.

The BerryXC-ute concert hasn't ended yet. They have this weekend and then a Christmas concert. So don't expect this out till sometime late winter. Maybe we'll be blessed with a live stream for Christmas? Oh please let it happen!

^ As soon as I heard Love Machine I exited out. I just can't do that song anymore. It's hard to support DMM when they are such awesome performers but they keep having to sing the SAME SONGS. FOREVER.



It also means we won't see the current lineup doing any of the old songs anytime soon.

When I travel to Japan, the first thing on my list will be destroying the master tracks for Love Machine. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':mellow:' /> It doesn't help that I've never liked the song. Using current MM as backup dancers is sad. Why invite them in the first place? Might as well have shoved all the eggs in the background because it's not like you could see any of them. UGH all around. Yes, I knew they were going to do Love Machine, but I'm an optimistic person and always hope otherwise.

After reviewing the tape, we have a change on the call. The line was the "minna de renai kakumei" at the end of the break and, after a 24-ish-hour review, the line has been bumped up from "mucked up" to "poor volume control." Kaori and Koharu took that line, but Koharu sang quiet/didn't sing, so Kaori's breathy voice came out weak. Yellow flag, 10 yard penalty, 4th down, 20 minute overtime, 2 run deduction, squiggleball back on the field, TILT, blerns loaded, vote passes with a 5-4 ruling, the Yankees win.

I can just about bare watching the new members doing old songs because their voices, the way they dance, expressions etc are all new, but DMM have been doing that SAME DAMN SONG, with the SAME DAMN VOCALS and the SAME DAMN DANCE MOVES for what? 10 years?! TWELVE YEARS!!
