Please, somebody seriously tell me. What has the world come to? What kind of a nightmare Philip-K.-Dick-tripping-on-meth alternate reality did I just wake up to? Why does The Turtle Prophecy suddenly seem so real?



Congratulations, UFA, you have just managed to top Namida in the level of shittyness. To make sure I'm not just taking out of my ass I actually watched Namida immediately after watching Puke-o Puke-o, AND I ENJOYED IT. It was soothing to the eyes and cleansing to the ears. After 6 years of an uninterrupted reign, Namida loses its spot at the very the bottom of my MM single ranking. Honestly, try for yourself.



This PV is only fraction of a notch better than the shitty blue-screened videos they used to spew out for Minimoni back in the day. The song itself isn't better either. It's on the level of effort you'd expect for a tie-in song video in a weekly TV show for toddlers. Or even daily. As in a show for little whipper-snappers who will swallow everything that's cheerful and bright, and NOT for a DEBUT SONG OF THE NEW MORNING MUSUME GENERATION. I know that MM hasn't been particularly stellar for quite some time, especially compared to Akimoto's evil empire and the Korean invaders, but this beats absolutely everything since their inception.



Is this a case of an administrative corporate screw-up where the wrong song got assigned and budgeted for the wrong group in their portfolio, and no one noticed until it was too late? Or it this Tsunku message to us on the direction he's taking the group into? Or is it really just a bad dream?



Either way, if you have a YT account, I urge you to go to the video and dislike it, leave a comment telling UFA how very astray they went, and vote up other comments that say so. It may not be much, but maybe, just maybe they will get a slightest hint that something IS wrong with it.



I love Morning Musume, therefore I must hate this song and PV.



End of rant. I MAD.

I didn't think it was that bad, but somehow Sayumi(A.K.A. the girl who revels in being cutesy) seemed to be in the most pain. Don't get me wrong, there were a couple of other girls that had a moment, but Sayumi was just continually hating/bored with it.

PV would have worked SO much better if they used blue screen instead of that overlay crap. It ruined a perfectly good concept.



At like 3:06 with Riho and Erina... That was painful. You're supposed to LOOK at the camera, not at something off camera Erina! How long as she been on OhaStar and she still doesn't know this?



Also noticed Reina can't jump for crap.



I can't hate the outfits, I think they're the cutest things.



PV wise, The Manpower still wins for being the worst ever PV in the history of Morning Musume. Sure they had the awesome alternate version, but they CHOSE to use the dance shot as the official PV! So I can't hate really hard on this PV when comparing it do that mess.

Well I don't find the PV BAD... It's not the best but I still like it.

My god, every time I hear that line Riho had a voice crack on I can't help giggle! The what's it called.. Projection (? ) really bugs me. I really like big Musume, but I hope their next single is better~

I'm not saying sex it up but I'm not saying make it Preschool Dora/Kai Lan/Blue's Clues either. I feel bad for them and I hope the next single has better outfits and image because opinions of the song may improve if the PV resembled Koko ni Iruze, Souda, or Mikan ect ect. After their last two PVs I think the fans expected a bit more. Even the changing light color of Only You looked better than this.

Posters? You mean these? These are what you get for buying any of the limiteds. They differ depending on the store you get it from. The kanji for the first one is Shinseido, for the last two Yamano Music, everywhere else.

I like the PV myself. It's fun and silly and inventive. Beats the pants off boring PVs like Seishun Collection.



Problem is, much of Momusu's current fanbase is used to mature Musume, and this kiddy stuff is difficult for them to swallow. But I can't see this current group of girls doing songs like Shouganai Yume Oibito or even Only You.



Ideally, I'd like to see a song like Go Girl ~Koi no Victory~ or Koko ni Iruzee!

The song I do like though, it's happy, energetic and cute. Good stuff.

Well... I guess I'm officially done with MM now.

I don't even feel embarassed anymore or anything like that.



The concept might have sounded cool on paper, but it turned out extremely abysmal.

Probably even the worst video in MM history.



@aine; Namida was just a boring video, but this is absolutely over-exposed crap.

Also, Minimoni was a "kids" group, so I think their videos were fitting overall.



Maji de was a nice happy-fast song, this isn't.

What it really does feel like though, is a left-over Minimoni song/video-concept.
