I started noticing it around the time Aichan graduated. She also obsessed over Yuuka, so if there's one thing to learn from this situation, it's that if you want to stay in Hello Project, don't catch the attention of Eripon.

I just read an article where Risa admitted she used to be too unhealthily skinny and now she's telling the newer members to not get obsessed about their weight and go on diets that will screw them up at such a young age. Good for her.

Is she talking about '09 Risa? Because I agree (and I can't think of a time before that when she was very skinny), and I'm glad she's sending a positive message to the younger girls.

Thank God. I remember thinking exactly of this when she said her favorite PV or something was Nanchatte Renai. She looks her best when she's bigger, particularly her weight in Shouganai was awesome.

Pretty sure Mizuki has only been in the group for a year and already she has shown better vocal talent, stage presence etc etc than Aika ever has.



I challenge anyone to notice the difference between Aika being there or not, seriously!



Fuku-chan however is fast becoming THE singer in the group, not only talent wise but look how enthusiastic she is when she speaks of her love for H!P



I admit she was rather bland personality wise when she joined, but that's changing now she is gaining more and more confidence.



besides I was only half joking, I'm not angry at Aika at all, I just think she is going to regret not taking a chance to shine when she finally does graduate and looks back on her time in the group.

Am I the only one unimpressed with Mizuki vocally? She was in eggs and inexperienced Kannon is better than her. Heck I even think Aika was better than get when she first started.

From what I've heard so far, especially her solo performances I think from Hawaii she sounded really really good, hopefully more solo performances in the future so we can get a better idea.

On one hand...I very much agree about Aika. I would say she's the biggest flop in MM history. She's forgetable, not a good singer, and not a stand out dancer. And though this isn't her fault, she's been out of the picture for a ridiculously long time with this injury. As much as we hated Koharu, she did stuff and brought new exposure to the group through her Kirarin anime. About the only positive thing I can say about Aika is that all of the other girls describe her as very mature and reliable. She has potential to be the next KonKon (bringing in fans with her boobs), but so far she's had a grand total of 1 photobook. We'll see if now that she's coming back they might persue that route.



On the other hand, I have to disagree about Mizuki. She is in danger of becoming the next Aika if she doesn't step up her game soon. I forget about her almost as often as I forget about Aika, and probably the only thing keeping her in my mind is the fact that she's new.



Mizuki had a lot of promise as a new member, because we'd heard her sing pretty well before joining. Since she's been in the group she has a lot of trouble emoting when she sings, which makes her come off as very bland and less of a good singer (even though she's hitting the notes). She's not particularly strong live yet, and every time I've seen her live her face looks blank. Even though she may be more practiced at dancing, but the rest of the 9th gen comes off as much more enthusiastic on stage. The same thing happens in photos - Mizuki is a pretty girl, but her expression is lifeless more often then not.



Her love of H!P is cute, but...everyone in H!P loves H!P these days. It doesn't stand out. Sayu has cornered the market on being H!P PR Extraordinaire with her blog, and then you have Eripon with her rampant obsession with Risa, Fukuda Kanon being the biggest Yurina and Riho fangirl, etc. All we hear about Mizuki is "oh she likes H!P a lot too." Maybe if Mizuki had a blog she could show her personality off more, but Eripon doesn't have a blog either (other than to talk about Oha star) and we know plenty about her.
