And re-watching Baby Koi ni Knockout, I'm convinced they're grooming Zukki to be the resident high note girl. If Mizuki had some facial expressions, I would have chosen her as the standout, though. How does this concert compare to others you guys have seen? I hate to say that besides random Youtube videos, I haven't seen a complete Hello Project concert before.

I'd need to watch the full thing to tell you. But the Summer concert was pretty good and it had some awesome solos. But I think how much you enjoy each particular concert depends on how much you like the setlist, since I can't think of any that are actually bad based on performance alone.

9th/10th/Smileage dance/Mobekimasu/ Dance was very lame. Please drop special dances forever in favor of solos. And I'm kind of over Mobekimasu. Side note, it took me forever to realize that was Risa during the Mobekimasu performance whenever she was on camera.

I think this is my favorite one so far. Riho sounds like the baby of the group singing wise though, and she might be. I don't know how old Akari is, but summer concert, it'd be cool to see Akari and Maimi dancing together in a song.

Riho was sick during the concert and had lost her voice. Shows how important she is in that they made her perform still whereas others would just sit the whole thing out.

I thought Riho had lost her voice from too much forced singing? The others had the flu, and on-stage vomit would just not be pretty.

I've only heard she lost her voice. Nothing about actually being sick. If she was sick, I don't think she would have been there. It's a good way to give it everyone else. She also said herself on Riho Deli that she lost her voice from singing too hard.





Ai no Sono. I can't stand this song, so I'm not going to lie and say I watched it. So, no comment.

If you feel like wading through youku, I've seen a few full H!P concerts there. That's where I watched the summer H!P concerts. They might not have this one, though.

Haven't finished the whole thing yet, but I'm calling it now: Unless puberty is extremely unkind to them, Haruka and Masaki are going to dominate MM! We all knew Haruka was going to be a star, but it's crazy to see how much Masaki keeps improving. She's picking up dancing quickly and she's possibly the best vocalist out of both the 9th and 10th.



Still, though, when it comes to all the new members, 2nd gen S/mileage rule them all. Every one of them are turning into awesome little performers.

2nd gen S/mileage are easily the most well rounded of the new generations.



Did Maasa ever show up? I know she was sick, but I didn't think they would film that early on.

She might be in there somewhere. It's obviously shot over a couple (or more) dates, since it combines numbers from both Rock and Funky into one broadcast.



Also, Berryz new single is like the anti-Pyoko-Pyoko in that I love the outfits but I really dislike the song (other than the chorus). The new C-ute single is awesome though.

Just finished watching and Maasa is MIA. Riho does sing live in a few songs though, so I guess her voice got better in a day or so. I can't wait to see the full Rock-chan and Funky-chan concerts, because there was some great stuff there. I really loved the medley they did at the end.



And damn... Do they make the 10th gen girls do sit-ups for two hours a day or something? Those girls have crazy fit stomachs.

PS. Sorry you overly optimistic Ayumi fans, but she's AT BEST going to be the next Kei Yasuda, and at worst Makoto Ogawa. It's the Haruka/Masaki show from now on, and you and Haruna are just invited to tag along.
