Well, two recordings are out!

The others aren't out yet, but Rina did Koi ING, Akari did Scramble, Kanon did Sayonara "Tomodachi ni wa Naritakunai no", and Wada did Yuki / Ai Anata > Suki.

Yaay thank you! Kana also mentioned doing Watashi no Miryoku ni Kidzukanai Donkan na Hito, so I'm assuming each of the other girls got an additional solo as well.



Kana sounds a bit rough on Kuyashi Namida Porori - more flat emotionally than anything - but that's a tough performance to live up to. They obviously gave her Yuko and Aika songs because they're also from Kansai (she said the manager chose the songs) but there had to be better choices. >.>

Oh, that's why she sung the Yuko song? I was surprised, they rarely bring her stuff out for performances.

She didn't officially give that reason, but that's my guess, especially after seeing that the other song she did was an Aika solo. Because otherwise yeah, it's a really random choice.

Risako is from Kanagawa prefecture.



And Misonikomiudon ( 味噌煮込みうどん ) is one of the specialties of Nagoya area, which is well-known in Japan.

Frances is in a Taiwanese drama based off of the anime Skip-Beat! in which she plays Maria. She debuts about10 minutes in and continues for another 20 seconds. This was the only good quality recording I could find of this episode and this is the only episode on that website that's split into parts.

In other S/mileage news, Rina of all people is apparently getting a solo FC birthday event. She has a nice voice, though, so we might get some good solos out of it.

I wonder if the new group of girls will include someone from H!P. Meimi would be a pretty cute choice, I think.

Rina, Riho, Zukki, Meimi, Masaki, and Haruka are the only girls who age wise could do it that are in groups.



It would help out Rina or Masaki loads. Though I think Masaki may be too young?



Riho nor Meimi need it. Zukki could use the fans. She's got such potential, given the right atmosphere she could really turn into a break out.

Wiki tells me the age is 12-15. Masaki will be 13 in May.



That age limit means they could get Ayumi, Kana, or Akari as well.



Can't imagine Rina or Riho on the show. Neither has much TV presence, and Rina doesn't seem like someone just waiting for a chance to come out her shell the way Eripon did. Haruka might be cute, but somehow I feel as if she would seem out of place. I'd love to see Zukki or Masaki, though. Kana would be awesome too, and so might Akari. Ayumi seems like a real go getter, so I think she'd be okay even without a tv show to give her an extra push. She'll make sure everyone notices her elsewhere. Not to mention, she'd probably turn 16 before the new set of girls graduate from the show.



Edit: And on the subject of Ayumi, the clips of her and Risa on J-MELO are out.

She really doesn't look any thinner than usual to me, lol. Her costumes over the years have done her no favors but pictures of her in normal clothes made me realize she's actually normal/thin.











Anyway, she's hawt. It's nice to see her doing so much modeling work lately.

I doubt there will be another HP Oha Girl any time soon unless it's an Egg. As much exposure as Saki and Eripon got on it, it's obviously a huge strain on them, being a live show early in the morning, waking up before 5 in the morning, doing the show, going to school, then doing all their HP related work.

Honestly, Eripon looked exhausted in some of the more recent epiodes of Oha Star that I've seen. She seems far more energetic when she does her H!P work.

That scan is from 2009-early 2010. The only reason why it's on the picboard now is I just found actual honest to god HQ versions of it.

Being from that time frame it's pretty possible it's 100% legit; since her weight gain was after the Alo-Hello 2 photobook and she looks similar to how she did in her photobook. Frrah's pic is also a good example, that's from late '09.
