Cuca would be a nice addition, but is her family ready for Cuca to audition? She doesn't exactly live close to Tokyo if I remember correctly. And I don't know how well off her family is to allow their 10 year old to go to Tokyo to audition. (That is, if she makes it to the 2nd round.)

She lives on one of the smaller islands, but I can't remember which one. She mentioned in the last auditions on her blog that her family couldn't afford to move to Tokyo. I think they also don't hold auditions where she lives.



As for her singing voice, since Usako mentioned it, is she singing while she's dancing? I always thought she pre-recorded it and then played it over the video.

If Reina and/or Sayu go in the next year, past them Haruna will be the only one in MM old enough to work late at night (that's a thing, right?). Do you think he'd take that into account and add someone older? I don't know how important that is, and I could be wrong but I thought MM/H!P has spending quite a bit of time in various late night slots since they declined in popularity.



I love 9th gen and 10th is growing on me, but MM doesn't feel right. It doesn't surprise me that Tsunku thinks something is missing. Unfortunately, I think what's missing is a proper bridge between 6th gen and 9th gen, and 11th gen won't solve that <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... nfused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Cuca + Karin would make my life. I'd like to say I'd love to see Tsunku pull a Miki with Kikka, but I think that's beyond all hope at this point. She's already 20 years old. I think Miki was 17-18 when she was thrown in.

Last year MM got more awesome with the addition of the 9th and 10th gen.



With all these girl groups around, MM has been improving as a group and I think we've got a chance right now to do something totally new and different.



So I'm going to use a bunch of stupid wind metaphors to tell you about how I'm having a new audition!

That's right, I'm looking for an 11th gen of girls that are like "I love singing!" "Great smile!" "Super genki!" !



It's called the "Morning Musume 11th gen member "Natural Diva Audition!!"



Even if they got no skills, if they come to the audition with a pure heart, energy, and a smile, a big chance is waiting for them! Come show off how much you love singing!



As long as you're between 10~17 as of 2012/4/1 and you're a girl, you're ok!

Re: Suppin Utahime - As masa said "suppin" can also mean "as you are." So basically the typical "girl next door" thing MM auditions are always looking for. I never put any stock in the titles of these auditions anyway.

If UFA knew their shit they'd give Cuca, her parents, and her relatives up to fifth cousins thrice removed a full relocation package, inclusive with a red carpet at the airport, guaranteed jobs, and a cherry on top. But they don't, so we'll get trolled again. Probably. I'll hold on to my vain hope, and in the meantime rip all of Cuca's videos before they are taken down and lost forever.

According to FAQ, Cuca has no qualification to have an audition for the 11th gen.

Ａ．ギリギリの人ごめんなさい！2012年4月1日時点で、満10歳～17歳までの女性が対象です。

"2012年4月1日時点で、満10歳～17歳までの女性" means "今年の4月から、小学5年生～高校3年生の女性".

Cuca is "小学4年生" now.
