I don't give a damn about opening ceremony, so I guess I'll be stalking the Dealer room on Friday in hopes of getting the wristband.



I hope this doesn't turn into a clusterbar like Anime Expo where we start a line and then get told, oh you can just go in.



I wonder how the autograph session is going to be. Is it going to be in the same room, or are we going to have like this massive wave of people sweeping through Anime Next.



Either way I need to go start eating ramen and spam for the next few weeks. But it'll be worth it right?

This is what doesn't make sense: Just how limited are they? It's obvious EVERYONE would get one, so it sounds like they're just trying to get 30 extra bucks out of people. And if they are truly limited, then you end up with a ton of pissed off people who can't get them. If so many things are dependent on them and if I can't get one, I'll honestly cancel the trip, because I can just watch concerts at home on TV.

We'll have ourselves a BBS meet-up while in line, scattered among a bunch of H!O's, Plops, JH!ps, and Wotas. Good times.

Do any BBSers live in upstate New York? Like 4/5 hours above the city? PA too, cause I live like 45 minutes from the state border.

Also, if somehow I can manage to find a ride, how much would the weekend cost? And could I crash on someone's floor? ;-;

I'm taking the Bolt Bus, which can range from $1 - $19 depending on where, when and what time you're leaving. I have no idea where you live, but if you have that bus around you, it might be a cheap option to get to the New Jersey/New York area.

Right now the weekend pass (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) is $50. Not sure what daily pass prices are though. (Sorry)



And I have no idea about crashing. (I'm staying with Usako.)

We'll be in the city on Thursday afternoon. Usako's picking me up from Tick Tock around 1pm. My bus gets in a little after 12:30.

Well, other than probably being the hottest straight guy there, I can wear distinctive clothing. I've got all sorts of various nerd shirts, and a bright orange H!P zip up hoodie that I can wear to easily stand out.

I'll PM you my cell # since I have texting. You'll only need to wear something distinctive on Thursday. I'm pretty good with face recognition after a first meeting. Names on the other hand, not so much.



Also, can we have a definete answer on who exactly is going to be going to this convention besides me, Al and Usako? I don't want to miss anyone who may or may not want to "hang out" whatever that is to a BBSer.

Haha. Though, its not like we're in the hottest climate in the country or anything, but a hoodie would more than likely be too much, unless its raining. I'm sure I'll just be wearing AKB48 shirts the entire time and maybe 1 H!P shirt, unless Berryz has some cool ones on sale at the booth.



I'm also not bothering with the premium pass, it kinda feels like a waste. I'll get the wristband from the merch booth, but the premium pass to the concert is a bit overboard to me. Also, myself and Ukyo are not staying in a hotel, we'll be staying with a friend in Northern Jersey and getting rides from there, but we'll be in the area probably around Wednesday or so.

I will probably get into the city approx 12:30 (so as long as my friends I am picking up have no flight delays)



My favorite karaoke place is conveniently close to where I wanna snatch PQ. <3 I figure we'll book at room from 1-3 and then go shopping and fooding afterwards until 6 when we need to head back and get our badges. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Mayhaps there will be a Berryz sighting in NYC on Thursday. (They did explore Seattle the day before the convention last time.)





After badge pickup, I have heard of a couple of dinners/gatherings going on that night so I guess we'll play by ear after we are officially badged.

I'm confused. You're gonna check into the room--in New Jersey--and then come back into Manhattan? How long is the trip to Somerset and back? I was figuring on checking in on Thursday (Holiday Inn) and staying there.



I'm down for hanging out on Thursday, but I have to wait and see if my Berryz interview request is granted and learn when that will be before I can make plans.

We're staying at a little hotel for Thursday night because Usako only got the con hotel for Friday-Sunday. Usako is picking up some people at the airport in Newark and then going to NYC and picking me up at the bus station, or where ever the Bolt Bus lets off from Boston.
