Oh everyone should go, just to see me try and attempt to karaoke, since I don't ever. And I'm sure I'll be suckered into it somehow because I've got a weak backbone. Anyway, Koharu, eat your heart out!
But yeah, after badge pickup we should try and meet-up.

Karaoke is my favorite sport.. but I am a crappy athlete. BUT I LOVE TO DO IT ANYWAYS. I'll be the Sayu to your Koha then. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I'm going to be there, after 15-some-odd hours of driving. I should be getting in some time Thursday night. Hopefully not too late, so I can get lots of rest for Friday. I'd like to meet lots of people, since I've never had the opportunity to hang out with other idol fans <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />
It's comforting to know that there are other self-proclaimed bad karaoke-ers. I love singing, but I'm really bad.
By the way, does anyone here need a convention registration? I bought two weekend passes, but the friend I was going to bring has flaked out. They told me I couldn't have a refund, so I have to either transfer it to someone else or they'll apply it to next year. If there are no idols there next year, I probably won't go...
Just like last time, if anyone needs anything PM me your shipping lists. I won't charge you a commission, but if you feel like tipping you are welcome to. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The prices are much better than expected. Almost tempted to get the Anniversary set but I may just settle on a fan...I'll talk with my dad and sendyou a PM, Usako. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /weeeh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':weeeh:' />
[11:13:35 PM] Liam: DO NOT LET JAPANESE IDOLS GET IN THE WAY OF THE *AMERICAN* DREAM
Despite the fact that I love Special Generation and Heroine ni Narou ka!, I desperately want to hear them sing, Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai. I don't think they've sang it since 2009.
And I know, Kozukai UP Daisakusen would never ever make it into a concert. Drunk Jamaican Berryz!

Awesome! Its great to know what merch will actually be available, even if 50% of it looks like crap. Some of it is really nice, though, and nicely priced.
Ugh, seriously, after looking at them again, they managed to make every single one of those solo fans look atrocious. I hate idol merchandise when they make girls that you know are gorgeous look like fucking troll clowns. And they can't have DVDs that are worth a damn, just stupid DVD Magazines which I've never been able to sit through more than about 5 minutes of. And I already have about a half dozen H!P photo books I want to get rid of, so I certainly don't need any more. Looks like I'll be getting a shirt, a bag, and some towels! I might still get a fan to hit my friends with when we watch Jpop, but I'd have to decide which of them looks least like a troll or a clown, first.
And I don't think they taxed the MM merch in 2009, but I can't quite remember. I thought I remembered some people handing them even bills for some stuff and getting no change. They sure as hell charged tax on everything in the dealer's room at ACen when I went last month, though.

The album comes with a clearfile, so that's an automatic get for me. The Fans and DVDs are last on my list. Though I wouldn't mind the Berryz/C-ute ones just because it has C-ute in them. Vol. 28 looks interesting. If it's behind the scenes concert footage then that's an automatic get. I think I'll go see if they are torrented and watch a bit of them to see if I want to lay down the money to buy them.
I wonder if the USA H!P store managed to get a booth yet?

Yeah, I've been pretty addicted to getting clear files recently, but the price is pretty steep for an album that I probably wouldn't listen to very much. I'm still undecided about the album. I may just cave in and get it when I'm there just as an impulse, but it also depends how much other stuff I find to buy in the dealer's room.
I really want to vote for Piriri since it's been my favorite song of theirs since the beginning, but I think getting them to perform Because Happiness with the audience doing C-ute's part would be epic!
Just a heads up: If you bring glow sticks and jump around like a wota retard, I WILL kick your ass.

How about I just bring glow sticks and we can beat people with them? Oh sorry my bad, you jumped in front of me and my glowstick got stuck in your eye socket! D:

Just curious and for future use if someone decent pops into the Southeast, where do Americans buy their light sticks? I've found Dollar Tree has them in the shades of Berryz' but I didn't know if there was somewhere else.

I think Dollar Tree is your best bet, and I haven't really bought any glowsticks, but I've noticed overpriced ones at hardware stores like ACE and camping/outdoor stores like Erewhon here in the midwest. They have more standard colors, so I don't recall ones like purple or orange or pink, though.
They have every color of the rainbow at the dollar stores, you just have to hunt them down. And they have all sorts of glowing things besides glowsticks. Yay...

I've officially decided that I'm not bring any Morning Musume related clothing to the event, because I don't want every random person coming up and talking to me as if I like current MM and having to argue with them about how much I don't like them now. So as far as Jpop, AKB and Berryz clothes ONLY.
It's weird we're already leaving for this in a little over a day. I'm pretty sure I have phone contacts for most of you guys who are going from the BBS, anyway, so we can discuss plans after we get there and have a better idea what we'll be doing on each day of our stay.

Uhm... if you want my cell # Aueg and don't have it, you can PM me for it.
... I need to pack. I bought myself a new suitcase since my other was too big. I hope it's not too small.
I was at the $5 store the other day and found a purple shirt that said Beary Special with a bunch of coloed gummy bears on it. They didn't have any small, just a medium and a bunch of Large. So I was bummed, bought one anyone and I'll give it to Miyabi. I thought it was cute and kinda cheeky. Then as I was leaving a saw a pink shirt with a bunch of little black ninja's on it and one pink one that said, Stand out in a crowd. Reminded me of Momoko so I got it, it was also a medium. (Apparently everyone was a small because there were none for any of the shirts.) Now I just need to get myself into the autograph session.
I don't own much of Berryz, I'm more a Buono/C-ute fan then anything. Of course I don't own much of their stuff either. I'm a horrible fan. :D

I need to pack too, but I got my presents for Berryz together. Nice and simple. I got some cheap Snoopy "Thank you" cards and then I wrote a message and drew a sketch of each member in them, then decorated them with a few stickers of cartoon characters that I know certain members like. I did get Chinami something for her birthday though, a bunch of those bracelet rubber band thingys that the kids wear nowadays, but these are shaped like Toy Story characters.

I'm at a loss as to what to get Captain and Yurina. Risako I think I'm all set with. I also hope Maasa like One Piece. I don't think I'm missing anyone. Chinami... er... does she like anything besides Toy Story and sleeping?
