I don't think you have to worry about that to much, usually it seems when the 9th gen sings songs together the about of lines is usually really close to the same. Riho might have one or two more but that's probably it.

Lol hasn't Sayumi been reliable for quite some time now? And her singing magically improves after becoming leader after 9 years? But at least he admits (the blatantly obvious fact) that Reina has always been a very selfish/conceited member. And again. After 9 years she finally becomes part of the group? Ouch.

Also, there's a preview picture out of 9th gen (Zukki couldn't muster a smile here either) in Top Yell wearing the One Two Three outfits, but what was more interesting was this.

Not really. I love me some Sayumi, but she's always been the type to really depend on other members and is kind of a crybaby. She mentioned on her tour blog that after the graduation concert, she totally broke down had a whole "No you can't leave me" fit with Risa. She does a lot of fawning over the younger girls, but we haven't ever seen much of her teaching them things or giving them advice. But from her own blog and what people have been saying about her, now that she's leader she's taking the role seriously and starting to change.



It's just a little hard to see right now because her last 500 blog entries have been about her sister's cat xD

Off a first listen I guess I like the song, but it just isn't as good as 123. I agree it sounds like a bunch of songs, but that doesn't bother me too much.

There are a lot of parts that sound familiar. Wonder if anyone can pick up any other references that might be H!P or non-H!P related (like actual funk songs). Reina's voice here is good, and Riho sounds amazing!

I don't think both songs need to be front girl dominated...I think would be better as a B-side and not a double A-side because this song is not as good as 123 imo.

This song seems a little bit like Kono Chikyuu from the last double-A side in addition to the Berryz songs. Maybe it's just the funk feel.



Riho deserves some credit here. She seems to have improved a lot. I hope she stops her live scream/sing thing, because I'm starting to like her. I'm tired of the Riho/Reina show, though. Already. Sigh...

I hear Ongaku Gatas, especially the song Seishun no Custard, and maybe some random T&C Bomber. I hear Kono Chikyuu, because there are times where I want Risa to jump in and say GAKI a~~~tsukai No Thank You

I kind of like The Matenrou show, it's fun and all, BUT there's almost no variation or rise and fall. It's just heavy hitting throughout the whole thing, maybe the radio preview simplifies it to that point, I'll wait for the CD version/Youtube upload before fully making the conclusion.



I saw some short video of them in alternate outfits, Reina was wearing a really short skirt or shorts? with a long shirt and a cap. It was kind of that regular stylish girl on the street (corner <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hawhaw.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':hawhaw:' /> ) look. Basically a less silly version of 3,2,1 Breakin' Out's clothes was how it seemed. I saw a bit of Sayumi and some younger girl, I think 10th gen in a black -sort of- cowboy shirt with no sleeves. It was a very leg exposing look. I wonder if this is for Matenrou, it looked cool but kind of weird for the song, oh well, this is H!P. If these are the outfits, I really hope there are CD cover versions that use it.

I like that Reina is using her good voice and that Riho is improving a lot, but it really sounds like a duet between the two with a chorus behind them. As for the music, it does sound extremely familiar - I hear Kono Chikyuu and Manatsu no Kousen (the intro) like others mentioned, but otherwise I can't think of a specific song. I guess that's why Tsunku calls this his signature style - he's got a ton of songs that all sound like this. I'm glad this is a double a-side, because this song would have been really weak on it's own.

Pucchi, the outfit you saw Reina in is the outfit they used for her band thing. But I saw Sayu in a similar outfit, so maybe they just killed two birds with one stone.

I'll give it an 8/10. I'm happy about it it but it doesn't have enough "Umph" to it. Maybe it the quality of the video but I hope it sounds better on CD. I'm not feeling the background vocals hitting them high notes either. Also do anybody else hear a little bit of Mizuki or somebody else in there along with Reina and Riho?

I don't think I'll ever get used to a voice as weak as Reina's leading the group. She has got to be one of the weakest main girls in history, right up there with Nacchi. It really bothers me in this song because it calls for stronger vocals than this. That said, the song is that bad but it isn't that good. It's a very generic Tsunku song.
