I agree. I was just kidding. Maki was the best thing to ever happen to H!P and Tsunku will never have that luck, pure, unbridled luck of finding talent like that ever again. He's blind to it. That's just the one time he happened to open his eyes.

On the contrary, I think he found talent like that again. It's just that Maki surpassed H!P in the end (and I'm not talking an agency change) whereas other girls have just stuck with what little star power H!P could give them and never really wanted to achieve anything more.



And didn't Tsunku make a comment about not wanting girls who already had some sort of star quality because they knew where they wanted their careers to go? I always read Maki into that comment, so I think he's purposefully not looking for girls like her anymore, which is sad and unfortunate.

Watching the graduation announcement and interview on Satoyama, Reina's just straight up "I'm outta here, bitches!" That's the happiest and most confident I've ever seen someone during their announcement.

I'm a big fan of Koharu and even I don't want her to come back. She just wouldn't mesh well with the new girls. (Very few of the past members would. Mari might have, at one time, but she's gonna be 30 next January.)
