I like all of the separate parts a lot -- separately. I fucking viscerally hate this as a song, though. I've never been a fan of medleys or mega-mixes, so the idea of an all original medley is just bonkers to me. "I Got A Boy" should have been two completely different songs. Whoever that dude was that said this was the best KPop song ever has to be like 16 or 17 years old. IGAB isn't even close to being the best SNSD song ever.

Oh dear God, I completely agree with both JPope and AEUG.

It's a flop as a song, but it's fun and should survive the however many performances they do if they keep the visuals interesting. Try not to care too much about a throwaway pop song and it's enjoyable. IMO SNSD's put in their share of good music, so I can deal with a flop as long as it's marginally interesting and dared to take a chance.



Heck, this will always be leagues better than anything they release in Japan anyway.

I consider it a Japanese song, eventhough it got a Korean release.

Same goes for Paparazzi.



But IGAB and, especially, Flower power are nothing to brag about. At least the lives of IGAB are entertaining to look at, as you said. Just play a different song in the background.

I think SNSD's Japanese album is the best album they've released to date.

Okay, I admit Korean album tracks, with a few exceptions for certain groups, are total filler crap. But the concentration of quality in songs like Run Devil Run, Hoot, etc. will always make up for those crappy album tracks much more than the more evenly distributed meh of the Japanese album. Mr. Taxi is the only good thing they've released in Japan, but it comes nowhere near RDR and the rest of their Korean singles.
