I heard that their 2nd single is being cancelled. A quick check on cdjapan confirmed it.

Really hope it's just postponed.

A postponing would usually just have the release changed to TBA rather than cancelling the single altogether. That's strange. HMV has cancelled it as well.

Edit: It's official release has been cancelled, but fans will still be able to purchase it as the Kenshuusei event on the 5th:

I don't think it has actually been cancelled. Tsunku made a blog post about it and didn't mention anything like that. He talked about the members and the new song, and he said that they were surprised at how much support they've received.

The release has only been cancelled on a larger distribution scale. Right now none of the actual stores are offering it.

LAME. I really liked the first song and was looking forward to the second. Although it is really soon, so maybe they figured the group needed more time to become known. Still, I don't really understand the advance and retreat strategy.

So then I guess they're doing what they did with the S/mileage indies releases and only selling them at concerts? At least that's what I understand from the fact that it's not being sold at CDJapan/other online outlets.

JJ's 2nd single will be sold exclusively at concert venue, H!P shop and e-Line Up. They won't sell it in general CD store.

Little instrumental clip of the new single at the end of JJ's new video about fliming their last PV. It sounds like it will be a cool song, it's got lots of guitar, and I see they're bringing the sax back!

It's really creepy because I had a dream that this happened (30 sec instrumental clip that sounded similar to this), and it actually did...

I think it sounds pretty good! I'm hoping the PV isn't as plain as last time, I know their indies, but S/mileage had way better PV's, they even had more than one costume!

That girl on the far left has such a bad case of droopy eyes. I'm not sure the idol makeover will ever make her look happy. I just can't get over thinking how sad she looks just because of her eyes.

This sounds like it has potential. Yuka sounds like she's improved. I can't wait to see the dance.

But yes, S/mileage's indies PVs were LOADS better.

Karin was nothing special, but Tomoko definitely had a noticeable voice, the rest were all pretty grating :(

Agree about the song, too. Sounds like a usual boring 12-year-olds-trying-to-sound-mature-and-serious H!P song, but that's pretty much what I expect from them now.

Does anyone else feel like the juicys are the H!P version of Fairies? Judging from outfits and dance style, they remind me of each other. But Fairies have cooler (and several) outfits.
