I know there's different standards of beauty...Brazilians prefer a round ass, Asians prefer shorter girls, so I'm not flustered they insist she's obese.
I'm more offended they called us freeloading pirates. I guess buying from iTunes is piracy now.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 15 years of Chou Happy Spam!
Oh yeah, people tell each other they are fat there all the time! When my host sister got back from exchange, she gained a lot of weight, and my host mom was like, you're too fat, you need to lose that weight! Or friends say it too each other... I wouldn't call someone that myself ^^; but I guess I don't think it's rude when other people say it there?
I saw a JP wota post something on a MM video once that was saying, Yes, Kanon is noticeably heavier than the other members, and her previous self, but she's going through puberty and the body goes through weird changes, and it's hard to have a slim body for some people during that time, and that she should just focus on keeping herself healthy and not force herself to do crazy diets since she's still growing.
I agree with this person a lot. I mean, even by American standards Kanon is on the chubby side (no offense to anyone), but she's still growing into her body, and she's definitely no Matsuko Deluxe!

Have we even seen her standing next to an American, though? Not to be nitpicky, but Asian girls are insanely small, and while Kanon looks big next to the other girls, I doubt she is chubby by American standards.

They're not that small. And yes standing next to someone like Sayu is going to make her look bigger. But just by looking at her you can tell. I'm trying to be mean or anything about this though... As long as she's healthy and not skipping meals or doing anything dangerous. Yossi and Aibon went through this stage around the same time too...
Maybe it's different in different parts of America, weight standards and stuff idk, but Kanon is a 'celebrity' I guess, and American standards for famous people are very thin as well. I mean tabloid magazines pick at every little flaw people have. Japan isn't any different.
But NOOOO I don't want to be in this debate!

Sorry to break up this fasinating discussion about Zukki's weight again. But the MM chanel updated with a digest of the play Haruka, Riho, Haruna, Ayumi and Mizuki are in.
http://you ... 9uIYO8s
Mizuki can't use a phone and for the life of me I'm not exactly sure what she's doing. Haruna makes the best facial expressions. Some of these people can't act to save their soul.

Glad I'm not the only that thought this! Hahaha...
Also for those non-Japanese speakers out there MM's 6/6 appearance on DX has been subbed (Haruka, Masaki, Erina)
And MM will be on Hey Hey Hey! airing on July 1st. They sang Help Me!! and according to fans that attended the event, Reina's lines were split between Ayumi and Maa-chan.
It's nice to see MM getting more active on TV these days!

Re: Hello!Spam :: 15 years of Chou Happy Spam!
Chris Hart is one of those random foreigners that appear from time to time, basically they failed in their own country so they get hooked up with a "satellite" country and try again.
sometimes they fail again and go home and sometimes they get their 15mins of fame like this guy is enjoying at the moment.

Morning Musume were just announced to be guests on Nakai's 13 hour music show, Ongaku no Hi. It will air on 6/29. This will be a must watch show just for the amount of artists performing.
Source
Also, C-ute will be performing on Music Japan. Club48 will also be present in force. It's been 3 years since C-ute performed on Music Japan. (Thanks Jplop)

Lastly, SharamQ are going to be on a show on 7/6. Source Guests are still being announced. Cross your fingers someone from H!P makes it onto the list!

Ayumi looks more Chinese than Japanese to me, partly because she looks like a Chinese woman I know and her features are a little wider and lips a little thicker than most Japanese women.
She also photographs beautifully. You can just take shots of her from the concerts and PVs and create a great photobook of her:

I'm not sure that first screencap helps illustrate your point, Madara.
Also, as for the Help Me thing, they DID record a performance for some show (jplop):
on 6/8 at 8:30am, FC members are invited to appear at a taping for Morning Musume at Fuji TV Wangan Studios. they didn't say what this is about or what show Morning Musume will be on.

FC wota reports said the taping today is for "Sakigake Ongaku Banzuke Eight", it will air in July. which was announced at the end of the taping. wota who attended assumed it was Hey Hey Hey.
