They are such a solid group. Akari and Yuka are clearly the vocal weak links but they still did better than most HP weak links. Akari and Tomoko are definitely my favorites though.

It's true though, these girls are going to definitely be one of the strongest H!P groups in my opinion. Yuka and Akari are getting better, and it's only their 3rd single. Imagine what they'll sound like on their 12th single.

I actually really love Karin's new hair, haha. Maybe my Aina love just transferred.... And I know she's sitting so she has a singing advantage over the others, but Karin sounds really great here so she just won some points with me.
 
Oh, and the talk show lady looked like she was wondering what she wanted for dinner during their performance. She was majorly tuning out back there.

Even the other girls didn't sound very out of breath. Tomoko sounded less out of place live than she does to me in the recorded version. Her voice sounds so much more mature than Karin and Sayuki.

So I got around to watching the performance and boy, it was good! Karin sounded extremely good this time around. She usually sounds good, but she was damn near amazing this time around.

Wait ...did we discuss this?Is it possible that even before Aina decided to leave, Tsunku planned to make them do the memorial edit of the songs for their debut (since their indie MVs were so rudimentary). If that is the case then maybe Aina actually was in these memorial edits.

Have they been doing any promotion for this release? Ninki came out and they're not on it. It's not the end all be all, but The Possible are there at number four and their last single barely even hit 12k.

They've been doing a ton of promo work and they have signs up all over the place, some even near morning musume signs. But this is their first non indie single so I assume they don't have much to rank on compared to The Possible, who are not indie? Not sure how the Ninki ranks their singles? Past sales?

Ninki is a poll that shows public interest. Its usually a decent indicator of who will make up the top ten.

Interesting. Certain people seemed very pessimistic about the sales because they didn't think they were being promoted enough, so I wasn't expecting too much. But I guess all the events they did in August plus all the posters that have shown up recently did the trick.

I haven't been keeping up with the promo, but they announced this single back in June so I assume they've been promoting it since then.

I'm so proud of them! They've most likely reached 30K by now :) If it weren't for EXILE they would've probably sold a little bit more.

I hope they get invited to perform on Music Station! To rank that highly on this chart with a debut single is a huge achievement and they should be rewarded for it! :)
