Erina's been impressing me with her fiercer image since 123 though, since she learned how to channel that inner model and stop doing the deer-in-headlights look.

Did you see her on the chance poster(the one w/ the boxes)?

Somehow EVERYone looks good in these dresses and pictures. Even Haruka's ghost of Aika hairline can't ruin it.

Are you sure? When I'm scrolling through the pictures the only thing I think when I see Kuduu is NO! NO! NO!

Look at any H!P photoshoot in the last year and you'll be just as sure as I am.
Actually, I hate Haruka's flat, unstyled hair in Wagamama more than this. It's more flattering on her than it ever was on Aika.
This is fucking sweet. Now I really wish they had ditched the "Updated" project and just released a new original album, because not only does this not fit the rest of the Updated album, it's quite honestly wasted on it. This is a killer album track and deserves to be on a killer album. A lot of the extra songs that have been released with the past four singles would make really good album tracks, too, so to see them all sort of blown on B-sides and filler for an ill-advised Best-Of album is sad. I think a new playlist is in order...
Dying at the new Manpower. The preview video crushed it, but this version is a lot nicer sounding and it's pretty cool. I love the vocal effects and juggling and it may be my favorite of the updated tracks. Of course it has to have a dub breakdown though. We need to take a count when the album drops of how many half-beat/dub-sound breakdowns there are.
I really like the updated version of Manpower. I loved Sakura's "Mysterious" Riho doesn't sound worse than Yossi did in her parts. They do sound like little babies doing the end vocalizations, though. Looking forward to hearing more of Souda because of this..
The versions aren't that bad over all. Riho is dominating the vocals but thats expected after all. The remixs are good and fit the group. Some of the originals sounded better but thats expected. Overall I wish they did a new studio album or an album of all their B-sides in the recent singles.

Yup. This is the only update that actually improves on the original. The stripped down verse at 2:10 with the dissonant harmonies is soooo tasty. This remix almost makes me like the song, and then the irretrievably bad chorus comes back around to remind me why I hated it in the first place .
I have to say, after listening to the album...I was kind of OK with the songs, there's some that weren't that great (I WISH and The Peace) but the rest of the songs sound quite nice for the current Generation...and yeah I have to agree the new THE Manpower!!! is really cool to listen to!
I wasn't expecting Renai Hunter to have new tricks but that was clever
Though the later tracks like Kimi Sae and Brainstorming....something bout Maa-chan just did not work....She sounded meh IMHO.
Wow, that promotional boost from Wagamama really didn't have a lot of steam, huh? I wonder if this was a bit of a sandbag move to space out single promotions and avoid oversaturation. The songs are a great idea, especially for bringing some consistency to the nonstop concert tours, but they are a tough sell as a CD. I mean, does anyone in Japan really want to hear an "updated" Love Machine or RR21? Whether you dig the execution or not, "check out this new I WISH" isn't thrilling.
