How was the leader J=J decided? I thought the Red girl was the oldest so why is Pink the leader?

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
I have often wondered about compensation for H!P members. (If this is an old topic, please direct me to the original conversation.)
It looks like they have very little control over much of anything. Tsunku writes almost all songs, so they have no creative input there. How long they stay is subject to the competition, age, and many other issues.
Is there a base salary? Pay for outside gigs, like theater plays? Royalties? What can a member of Morning Musume, °C-ute, Berryz, S/milage, and now Juice=Juice expect to make?

As Al said Yuka (pink) is the oldest, but Tomoko (red) is the oldest Egg/Kenshuusei in the group and she's the sub-leader.

I already wondered about that but I only found a few answers on different websites, which sources weren't indicated but all are from 2004.
Here there are : (exemple from that forum, the answer of jojo-kun, at the bottom of the page)
So all between, which the exchange rate at the time, around 3 700€ and around 19 000€, except for Aya, who seemed to earn 565 000€.

There's probably a base salary, and then you might get a bit extra for solo work. It's probably fair to assume that none of them make too much money, though.

Last report I saw which used their tax information to extrapolate their salaries was a while ago, but Sayu was making roughly 100,000 US dollars a year around 2008/2009, and that was at their low point before her huge popularity surge.

Wouldn't Sayumi's be higher considering when she joined? I would figure that even the starting salaries were higher back in 02/03.

Sayu was the lowest paid one if I remember correctly. 8th gen might have been less, but I think even they were higher than her by a little. I'm sure it's far more now, but back then she was pretty much a non-entity pre-variety show Sayu.

Wow. That is hard for me to wrap my brain around. The price spread is huge! 3,700 Euros to 565,000 Euros? There is no way I would do what they do for a base salary of 3,700. 565,000? Hell yeah!

Sayu making around $100,000 in '08 sounds pretty decent. Now that she is the MM leader and overall "Grand Dame" of H!P I am sure it's much higher.
It was just a couple of weeks ago I read an interview of former Coconuts Musume member Kimura Ayaka where she stated she was still getting royalty checks. Let's see if I can find it... nope. I lost it. She didn't give an amount, just stated she still got royalty checks, that's all.

Keep in mind that in 2004, the H!P Kids were all super young and lived at home. So it's not as if they'd get paid a lot or need to be paid a lot to even support themselves.

Good point. I didn't think of that. They were still in training for a long ten year haul. I hope they are bringing it in now.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
The big problem with uploading Japanese songs to iTunes is you run the risk of forgetting what they are and the title and performer name are both in Japanese!
I need some help.
Hello! Project single within the past couple of years.
A-side sounds like "The Matenrou Show" but it isn't. It includes what sounds like "Maybe" in the opening line. It sounds like MM, but I can't be sure, esp. since the name in the artist's column doesn't match the Japanese letters I know for MM.
The B-side is by a special unit that includes Momoko and Nacky, plus one or two others. Not something I'd expect on the B-side of an MM single.
The third track is the instrumental of the first.
I'd like to know what songs these are. And who the artist/group given credit for them. Same on both.
Anyone?
Thanks.

It's the single released by Mobekimasu. The a-side is Busu ni Naranai Tetsugaku. The b-side is Moshimo... (sung by Fukumura Mizuki, Tsugunaga Momoko, Nakajima Saki, Mano Erina, and Wada Ayaka). Here's the generasia page for the single.

That's it! Thanks. No wonder I couldn't find it on Generasia. I had forgotten all about Mobekimasu. I bought that single back in November 2011.

Can't you use a software to add all that stuff in romaji ? In fact I use that (sorry for the french) one for 2 years to add all titles in romaji & kana, year, lyrics and so on ; it's really useful in my opinion but as I never really use iTunes, I can't confirm it matches well together. But you ought have a try..
I have a preference for the other one, Kacchoii Uta :3.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
For songs I can't read. I always go back and change them to something like this. (Ex. Shouganai Yume Oibito (しょうがない 夢追い人) ). I do it when I have the time, or do it right away. (I'm lazy~) As for artist name. I usually keep group names if they are mostly in hiragana or katakana, but if it's all big ol' kanji. I change it to romaji.
This is a place where a signature goes. Enjoy some Airi instead.
Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
You can google the song titles and manually change them in itunes by going to the song you want, right clicking, and choosing get info. Then you can change whatever you want.

Re: The Official H!P Question Thread
I'm extremely picky so in iTunes, I'll use the SJIS (example: レコンキスタ) but then flip over to the 'Sorting' tab and use the romaji (example: Reconquista). So that way alphabetically, it will show up in the Rs so I can easily find it, but it looks nice because it's in Japanese.

so years ago I had seen a "game" show where a group of the older generations and the Platinum generation were asked to kind of anonymously answer "yes" or "no" to particular questions, and some would volunteer to speak up and elaborate on their answer. One of the questions asked was something akin to "would you join MM again if you could start over?" and all but one of the older gen answered yes and I think only 3 of the Platinum gen answered yes... does anyone have any idea what i'm talking about ??

Hi everyone, I'm looking for that Help Me!! performance where Reina was sick (if I'm not wrong) and Riho took all of her lines. I don't remember, but some of them had blue outfits and the others had red outfits, or everyone were red idk.
It is or was in Youtube but they removed the audio.
Somebody know where can I find it?
