As much as I love Shabondama, I must say Namida ni wa shitakunai is a weak b-side to me ; especially against Never Forget and Happy night (couldn't make my choice only going by a-sides so b-sides were decisive).

Happy Night is so much better than Namida ni wa shitakunai. 
 
It comes down to the B-Sides for this vote. And I chose you Memory Seishun no Hikari!
 
Never Forget also helps. (It helps a lot.) That entire single has stood the test of time for me.

I did this a lot through the previous rounds. 
 
I used Airi versions of both songs to decide Both songs are in my top 5 though.

This is hard.
While I probably prefer Shabondama in every concert over Memory Seishun no Hikari (well, except for an OG concert maybe, because regarding that DMM concert they didn't do too well with Shabondama), Memory is the better song in my opinion. The slow sax, the harmonies, the somewhat whiny singing (but in a good way for once). Shabondama on the other hand is pure power, better for concerts with younger members who don't know the best singing techniques yet.
 
That being said, if we regard b-sides then it's an easy win for Memory.

I'm really having a tough time on this one because I can't decide how I'd rather vote - I think Shabondama is more iconic and kind of represents the overall spirit of MM as a group more, but I prefer Memory Seishun no Hikari as a song (not to imply I don't also like Shabondama as a song, but it's a song I have to be in the mood for).  I'm really going to have to think about this one because it could easily go either way for me.

I like both songs equally but went with Memory simply because of Reina.  I am so petyy.

I don't know how you can dislike Shabondama Reina. I feel like she was a better singer then. At least not squeaky. And her persona was less exaggerated too. I wish she stayed like that. 
 
I voted Shabondama. I think they are equal in quality, well Memory might be even better. But at the end of the day, I rather listen to Shabondama.

The final tally was 23-19. Memory kept it close, but could never get over the hump.

<div>This was tough for me, as Shabondama was the first MM song I ever recorded, so I have a soft spot in my heart for it. I think Memory is the superior song, though, and that's how I eventually voted. </div>
