I liked the MV (mostly because omfg Nanako), but for some reason it looked a bit... outdated or late? Like it should have been released like 2012. The song is fun though.

UUG uploaded a MV for Seishun no Namida. I like it so far, but it's very different from their usual colorful image. It's a fun song though.

An upbeat song on a black and white MV and girls making mainly sad faces ? It kind of disturbed me all the video. But the little effects that were added were fun (which contrasted more with the "sad" atmosphere).

I don't remember seeing this and I'm probably the last person to discover it, lol. At first I wanted to think that it was serious and heavy stuff, but then I remembered that everything in idol world is scripted through and through and that this setup was so neat that it was at least a bit jarring. So I don't know how to feel about this in the end.

Iida is still on UP-FRONT's site, but the catalog number TECE-3378 for her new album points to it being released by Teichiku Records. I can find no mention of Iida or the album on the site, though. I do find unrelated albums TECE-3377 releasing June 22 and TECE-3379 releasing July 20, so maybe it's a gap the site will fill in shortly.

EDIT: Asking Google to search Teichiku's site for any mention of 飯田圭織 I did get a link to a post on their Facebook page which is incredibly similar to the news article you posted.
