Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
That's friggin awesome.... Though Inaba is definitely a better dancer than Airi (don't get me wrong, I love Airi's dancing.) But I guess Airi's more well-known than Manakan was.
I like how Sayashi won and she's graduated, lololol.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
A play about women's rights at the turn of the 1970s, that's pretty interesting. Apparently they're fashion designers fighting to live in their own way.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
In my opinion, Manakan's dance style may not fit all dances while Airi's will (but sure Manaka brings out something special when dancing something of fitting style).
Also Moe and Momohime look adorable.

Will Moe and Ayaka play the mains in the play? The visuals are great so far.
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
"It is the end of the 1960s.
Women still struggle for social advancement during this era.
A female editor is burning with enthusiasm to publish Japan's first completely female fashion magazine, and the young lady of a respectable family has become one of its models.
The main cast ANGERME present a story about women who fight to live life their own way."
Presumably with Moe as the young lady and Dawa as the editor based on the poster.

Quoted from Ryu from H!O because I'm a lazy fuck.
The latest UNIDOL survey has Sayashi Riho being voted number 1 in the dancing category. NMB48's Yamamoto Sayaka and Cute's Suzuki Airi come in 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Closing out the top five are Inaba Manaka (formerly of Country Girls) at 4th and Watanabe Miyuki (formerly of NMB48 and AKB48) at 5th.

More on this. Nakajima Saki came in at #7, and Ishida Ayumi at #8.
Remarks about Riho

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
You can tell this is a straight 'who can you name?' poll when someone from N46 ranked in with their serious non-choreo.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
Outside of the Top 10:
Shimizu Saki at #11
Maimi at #14
Ai-chan at #16 (keep in mind that she's been gone for nearly five years now)
Takeuchi Akari at #21
Miyamoto Karin at #25
Fukumura Mizuki at #28 (quite a bit of tie there)
Maachan at #34, tied with Meimi, Saho Akari and one heck of a tie.
Maimai and Ayacho at #54
Erina at #57
Momoko and Miki at #71. It's worth noting that Itano Tomomi is also there at #71, and I would have thought she'd rank higher. At least on an Erina level.
Out of 12th gen, I'm not sure who's technically better, Miki or Maria. I would have thought the latter would rank higher, given her participation in the Dance Club. Maybe Miki's push from last year is still lingering?

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
Wasn't Meimi said to be a "bad" dancer?
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
Itano Tomomi is quite good so I'm a bit surprised she ranks so low. But AKB48 isn't known at all for their choreo (may I even say their choreo are known to be easy ? [ex : Koi suru Fortune Cookie : easy choreo so more fans dance videos]). It doesn't help members to be remembered when people are asked about good dancers.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
She graduated years ago which probably plays into it. Plus this survey definitely isn't a casual audience and people who are really into the 48 groups seem to tout SKE and NMB as the dancers.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
There was an overseas H!P concert a few years ago where an audience member or member of the press kept reaching up to the stage to move something (a speaker? a TV monitor?) in order to get a better picture thus making it difficult for one or more performers for some reason. (No, it wasn't me.) Does anyone remember this incident and where and when it took place and what the actual reasons were for it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I didn't like it... Also Kisora cut her hair too.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
just be grateful we're not in the mid 2000s, when every single idol (male and female) had light brown hair. There have been worse tragedies.
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
I'm sort of neutral about it. She looked nice with the long hair, but the short hair sort of works. It looks better than when they made Karin cut her hair super short a couple of years ago.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
Found a video of Nanami and Funakki singing a song from the Country Girls / Tsubaki play. Nanami was ok, but Funakki shocked me.
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
^I hope she shocked you in a positive way. Funakki was one of the KSS' best singers after all.
I watched this recap of Emotion in Motion (on my phone so I can only post the link like this: https://youtu.be/D1IawForpTw)and I thought of two things:
1. If Sakura graduates anytime soon we can all say goodbye to our ears
2. They really need another good singer (or at least push the more bearable voices like Duu and Miki) or even Sakura's singing will be horrible soon.
But what else is new lol.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
Every group that has added new girls in the last year has added someone clearly meant to strengthen their vocals (Moe, Musubu, Saori) so maybe the trend will continue for 13th gen. That Sakura is still the lead in spite of a lack of big popularity is proof they know the other girls aren't up to the challenge even if they haven't done anything about it.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
It's ok haha. I know she can be really pitchy but it wouldn't hurt to give her lines that go to Masaki, Ayumi or Erina instead.
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
And you're really not wrong relatively speaking, especially in a group where someone like Maria is touted as a future ace.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2017 ~Dancing Mode~
I wasn't really too fond of Maria until I realized my main problem with her was mainly her gross fans. But she is probably the most well rounded member of 12ki. Not ace material though.

Let's give no one lines and be done with it!

Completely agree with you, even more after hearing her opening lines on Hatsukoi Cider (it might have been only the day I went but she sounded way better than ReiRei).
