Tamura Meimi was in an NHK Drama special called "Idol", that aired August 11th. The story was about Japan's first Idol, Matsuko Ashita played by Kotone Furukawa. Tamura played Koyanagi Nanako, Matsuko's group mate. Promotional Website

But then it got better. Tsubaki Factory members Yamagishi Riko, Tanimoto Ami, Asakura Kiki, and Akiyama Mao. As well as BEYOOOOONDS' Nishida Shiori, Eguchi Saya, Maeda Kokoro, Yamazaki Yuhane and Satoyoshi Utano. Were all in the special as backup dancers.
