<img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... hahaha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' /> My thought process was exactly this. "Aww it looks like a ballerina costume...er, well, no, it looks like an H!P concert costume." As someone currently shopping for wedding dresses, I applaud Miki's individualistic taste.I say congrats for Miki, that dress is short. I'm not a fan of short poofy dresses but hey whatever makes Miki happy. Though your fashion sense gets a little skewed when you've been working under UFA for so long.
Tomoharu Shoji (33) of the comedy duo "Shinagawa Shoji" and talent Fujimoto Miki (24) were interviewed on the 12th in Tokyo's "Shinagawa's "Yoshimoto Prince Theatre" and announced they've submitted their marriage registration on the 11th. The wedding ceremony already took place on the 3rd (local time) in America's Hawaii. Shoji-san happily said "From now on, the two of us will work hard so please give us your blessings."* The two announced their engagement of March of this year.
The two walked onto stage holding hands. When asked about the wedding ceremony, Shoji-san said "it was a beautiful ceremony. (Looking at Fujimoto he said) It was cute, wasn't it? Mikitty was cute that day." When he said this, Fujimoto said "How embarrassing!" and her cheeks flushed red.
When asked about changing her last name, Fujimoto said it still did not feel real. "Yesterday when we went to submit our wedding license, I was quite moved when my last name was changed." When asked about plans for a baby, she said, "when you have a baby, your time disappears so right now I want to enjoy time just the two of us."
Shoji-san also reported on the marriage-advice from his senpais in the comedy entertainment world.** "They kindly supported me. I'm fairly inexperienced so I'd like to grow and develop with their varied advice" and he announced his work activities from now on.
On the other hand, when asked about unfaithfulness, Fujimoto said "なくはない"***....He said 'I will not cheat' so I have no choice but to trust in him." When asking the same question to comedian Jinnai Tomonori who married Fujiwara Noriko, they had readily responded with the "3-steps behind" line****. Referencing this, Fujimoto said "Rather than walk 3 steps behind, I prefer to stay one step ahead."
Yeah, that's a fact. When asked about plans for a baby, she said, "when you have a baby, your time disappears so right now I want to enjoy time just the two of us."
Very practical. That's Miki for you.Referencing this, Fujimoto said "Rather than walk 3 steps behind, I prefer to stay one step ahead."
Tomoharu is his first name, Shoji is his family name. She had stated around the time they first announced their engagement that she'd still go by "Fujimoto Miki" for her stage name, but legally-speaking, she's now "Shoji Miki."So she's officially Miki Tomoharu now, eh? Good for her, and especially good for him.
Comedian Shoji Tomoharu (33) and singer Fujimoto Miki (24) are to hold a lavish wedding reception next month, it was revealed yesterday. The event will be held in the Crystal Palace hall at the Grand Prince Hotel in Akasaka, Tokyo on November 27. The couple held a small garden wedding ceremony at the Hawaiian resort of Hokulia on July 3 and registered their marriage in Tokyo a week later. They are said to have invited over 400 fellow celebrities, friends and family to the reception. With "Miki-T" a former member of J-pop powerhouse Morning Musume, and Shoji one half of the popular Yoshimoto comedy duo Shinagawa Shoji, the reception will no doubt become a major entertainment event and will be attended by some of the biggest names in showbiz. It remains to be seen who will be chosen to emcee the event.
