Mezamashi TV's Karube Shin-ichi (At least I think that's his name), went to a H!P concert in Osaka.
Watch as he meets the wota, helps someone find a Chisato pinup poster and goes backstage to meet S/Mileage and chat with Morning Musume.

I've no idea what anyone is saying except they mention AKB48 a couple of times, but it looks pretty interesting. D:
At least the announcer can name all the Morning Musume members, he probably got it drilled into him before going, what a good announcer. Almost stumbled on Aika there for a second though. Shame he didn't stop to say hello to C-ute, Berryz Koubou or Mano Erina. But Morning Musume and S/Mileage both need a little popularity boost these days. ;D

They even mention Idoling!!! once in the beginning montage! After he names MM, they asked him to name the Berryz girl, but he politely declines saying, "Uh, maybe later". <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
But yeah, it's a nice little morning news fluff story that shows off the things that go into an idol concert, from merchandise to the outside antics to glow sticks.

What's the first thing you do when you return home after a concert?
LinLin: "I stop thinking and stare into nothingness."
Re: Mezamashi goes to a H!P Concert
I think the boy fans were taking him to task for not following mm. They said to him, like, "on Mezamashi you never bring mm on but we often see AKB48. Thats no good - I bet you can't even name them." Something like that.
I like how he asks mm about their new competition of tons of girl groups Awwwkwaarrd.
Many of the fans were saying that mm is not "idols" but professional artists! That is nice.
When Sayumi hears that a fan has her name written down his coat back, she goes "it must be such a cute back!" HAHA.

Is the moderator the same guy that made AKB48 ?
Because he looks very similar. (or I just remember him wrong)
Like that typical Satoru Iwata guy. haha
Anyway, that report was quite interesting, I liked it ! Except for JunJun and LinLin being trapped in the back during the interview, that's a NO-GO ! :<
That 41 years old guy is awesome, looks like some artist from Paris. Also, mouth-fart at 5:23. lol

I wouldn't go as far as to compare them to actual professional artists, but I've felt this way for quite a while too. People like to shit on H!P's talent but they're miles ahead of pretty much every other "major" idol group out there. And they obviously don't really vocally compare well to MM gens 1-3, but their dancing nowadays is a lot more complicated than swaying and flinging their arms around like they did in the golden era. I find it a lot more fun to watch. Fatchi can't fake a seizure like Takahashi can!
btw everyone go listen to idoling's new single.

I totally agree. One fan mentioned that AKB48 is like old MM with the girl next door thing going on, but current MM are "professional idols," and then Makoto says that they're "performance artists," which I think goes along with what you said.
I like that they managed to find one girl fan to interview to balance out the 50 year old guy with the huge pile of swag and the 45 year old C-ute fan.
