There are bikini shots on them , I hadn't noticed as I buy them to enjoy the intellectual by-play between the girls as well as their fascinating and incisive views on world problems and I am sure this DVD will feature much on the current political turmoil in Japan.

That DVD cover is so beautiful as opposed to the photobook one. Of course it's my opinion but well, this one feels more refreshing.
That reminded me of Natsumi's appearance on Colbert. Our girls are more engaged in politics than we think.

Oh, wow, that's the most excitement I've had about a release in a while! Can't wait for this one.

The DVD comes with a bonus "original PV in Hawaii" for Genki Pikappika. It's just the girls bouncing around and dancing in bikinis, but it's kind of cute?

The 2 June 2010 episode discusses the resignation of Hatoyama Yukio and the national election for a new prime minister in Japan. Colbert does a web search using the terms Japan and contest, revealing several of those bizarre Japanese game shows. A clip from the 13nin Gakkari Christmas Special shows Natsumi in fear with a piece of meat strapped to her head as a lizard approaches. The segment starts at 1:20.

Video is highly entertaining, they should improv more often, makes for a better PV.
Though, JunJun's totally not very genki in this video. I'm surprised.
Oh and I love the pattern on Takahashi's bikini. D: I wish there was more of it, but then all the wota would probably get mad at me for covering her up.

This is a place where a signature goes. Enjoy some Airi instead.
Re: Alo-Hello 4 DVD
The "PV" is a little cheesy to me, but I have to keep telling myself that it's just for the DVD. It kinda reminds me of somthing of those children straight to video movies you buy during the 80s-90s.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, here's a link to the DVD on YouTube with no subs.
I'm kind of disappointed by this DVD. I like how in the past ones, they actually go places, or split into teams, or have mini competitions. This one starts off with the girls deciding to make a "Genki Pikka Pikka!" PV, and coming up with ideas for it. Then they split into groups of two and each make a necklace or bracelet for the other girl, and then they film the "Genki Pikka Pikka!" PV. After that it's like 25 min. of a photo PV book (something I feel should be for the photobook only!), and just consists of the individual girls in various bathing suits doing poses while their "10 My me" album plays in the background. Then they do more photo shots only this time they talk in-between the shots for about 5 seconds, which are sometimes funny and interesting if you are paying attention. And Ai kinda has a british accent, haha, when she says "My name is...Ai Takahashi. You Know? Thank you, bye." Maybe I am the only one that thinks that? Then they bake stuff, which would be fine, but this is probably also just a photo shoot, because you can see the constant flash of camera's. In the older Alo-Hello's they had more interesting baking sessions...Then it's more photo shoots with some talking shots in-between. Then it's the credits with 3 camera angle of the "Genki Pikka Pikka" PV. Maybe my expectations are too high? But I feel like I just wasted an hour watching a photobook DVD...

Re: Alo-Hello 4 DVD
Not too surprised, when I saw the screencaps, sorta figured it's more of an extended Making of more than anything.
It's a pity really.. As it seems most of their DVD's now are geared for more extended making of the photoshoot (Looks at Takahahi and Eri's latest DVD's)
The PB Making of is pretty much a condensed summary of the Alo-Hello!4 if anything. ><

I felt like that for the first half, but by the second half it gets fun. Besides, they all look great in it.
Eri and Ai's last DVDs were boring as fuck though. I'm gonna have to start previewing them instead of pre-ordering them from now on.

I knew there was a reason I loved Colbert. <33
The Genki Pikapikka video is better than the Seishun Collection one almost.
