YES!
C-ute keeps getting better and better. Go girls!
I'm waiting until final version to pass my judgment on the song, but I like what I hear so far.

Re: C-ute would like to say, kiss me 愛してる!
Ahh~~ I think I like it~ I am not feeling those outfits so much though. They look like they are dressed up in those shitty sexy Halloween costumes, like something like a sexy Wonka Bar.
It is FORGIVEN though there was so much good news from the concert.
AND CHISATO PLEASE CONTINUE TO DOMINATE EVERYTHING OKAY?

This sounds really good. Chisato's voice is really pleasant to listen to.

Re: C-ute would like to say, kiss me 愛してる!
Okay, I hadn't clicked on this thread before, but when I saw the costumes, I think the appropriate emoticon that you kids use is Well, not really, but I guess that was the image they were going for and they were kind of surprising to see. I'm glad there's a picture here because describing them wouldn't do them justice. And the dance for the song only adds to the image.
I hesitate to guess what the "knock me" part of the lyrics is implying.
(Also Hagiwara's hair was so permed today. She looked like she belonged as a member of my family )

What's with C-ute in the hooker outfits? Granted, if anyone in H!P can make those outfits work, it's them. But, still, four of them are under 17. This is taking fan-service a little too far.

Keep in mind that Japan has gravure idols who are 14 years old and have H-cup breasts. Compared to a lot of what's considered okay in the industry, anything Hellopro does is incredibly tame. Not to mention, this isn't like back when the group debuted. At that point in time, these type of outfits would have been highly inappropriate. If we're talking now, the year 2011, the C-ute gals all look damned sexy in these outfits. Even Hagiwara is getting to the point where I can almost consider her attractive, something I never dreamed could happen. This is not to say that we should lust for them, as that would still make us creepy old men. But to simply recognize beauty (or even sex appeal), on a purely objective level, is not wrong by any means.

This makes sense, mind you, as most of the logical conversation points had been exhausted long before I got to the thread.

Hm this caught my eye.
Just because something is deemed culturally allowable in Japan does not mean that people here "should" react in line. For starters, it is not as if Japan's U-15 idols are without controversy themselves and many people in Japan feel just as disturbed by seeing H-cup 14 year olds as puritanical Americans might. Secondly, if it is culturally conditioned then the individuals here just can't help feeling uncomfortable by certain things. Thirdly, if it is all culturally and individually shaped then it doesn't really make sense to defend this as "purely objective" (which it is not as "Sexy" is always pretty subjective).
BUT I don't think its omgsluttlymorallywrongohnos! I do personally feel icked out because Yajima Maimi is too classy to wear crap like that I don't mind crop tops and booty shorts for concerts but the material and the colors scream "sexy Halloween Wonka Bar gone wrong" to me. Like something Biyuuden would wear.
ANYWAY, C-ute has been getting lots of good songs lately. There were always the group I ignored but now I must make amends.

In a way this kind of sums up a lot of the problem I have with the new MM members. I would be a liar if I didn't admit to finding a lot of the MM girls over the years very sexy from the 1st to the 6th Generation. I can watch THIS and think "hot damn" and show it to my friends who mock my love of MM, however I would have a real problem if the new members performed this or something similar and I sure as hell wouldn't show it to my friends.
I have been raised in a culture that tells you that finding girls under the age of consent (16 in the UK) sexy is morally wrong. Although I always have a problem with arbitary ages for things being legal or illegal I fully accept that these rules are vital for the protection of children. I again accept that Japan may work to different rules but that doesn't stop me feeling uncomfortable with some of their cultural mores.

Re: C-ute would like to say, kiss me 愛してる!
The song doesn't sound bad, but Chisato is not very good at dancing around live and singing at the same time.
I like her voice when she's not hopping around though and concentrate better on the singing.
I also agree with what Madara said about the costumes.

When I said "objectively," I meant people basing their judgment of beauty or sexiness on things besides lust. Whereas most people, when defining why a celebrity looks good, say things like, "She's hot. I'd nail her in a heartbeat." I was speaking to how you can find someone attractive without actually being attracted to them. This is the case for me, whenever I note an entertainer as being "sexy." I don't have any sort of sexual feelings towards entertainers, regardless of their age or gender. I find lusting for an entertainer to be absurd anyhow; mind you I'm not knocking the plenty here that feel otherwise. But can I make aesthetic judgments, or appreciate their looks on that aesthetic level? Sure.
I also don't think that C-ute should be prancing around in outfits like these on a regular basis. It doesn't fit their image in the least, neither on a group nor a solo member level. I never said anything to the contrary. Even in the case of Biyuden, a group with older members by H!P standards, I never really liked the over-sexed direction they took with their image in the end. It was an obvious attempt to make them stand out more, but in the end it didn't work too well. I still didn't mind seeing them in those IceCream/Purin outfits, as they were beautiful women. But at the same time, had they continued for much longer with that image, it would have gotten very old to me. H!P is about pop music. Straying from the image now and then can be amazing, but too much of it can be quite the opposite.
The comment about Madara not needing to feel guilty was more of a tangent. My statement to him was simply that the C-ute outfits would not be considered very taboo by Japanese pop standards. You are right that the U-15 idols with H-cup breasts cause controversy over there. As they should, because that's gross. But those same type of idols wouldn't even be allowed to exist in America. I'm not trying to say that Japan is some lawless land of sexual deviants, I'm just saying the acceptability standards for young entertainers are vastly different.

It's hard to tell the girls apart in this song though I can tell when Maimi or Saki is singing, but everyone else is over my head. How have they managed to get more and more similar sounding over the years?
