It's not the end of MM (again, for the 100th time), but removing someone who has been consistently featured in the spotlight for the past 20 singles will definitely take a chunk out of the amount of fans/support. Love her or hate her, she's been the voice of Morning Musume for about half of their discography.

Surely, surely Tsunku will have to replace her with another actual singing star. Someone who we say at audition level is awesome, like Taka was herself, or Airi, who was very impressive at audition. Eff 'personality' or 'enthusiasm' or whatever. MM needs someone who can sing, who joins the group at a little older as well, say 16-17.

Even with a singing star, ace or whatever amazing miracle, it's asking a lot to win back what Ai earned through the course of a decade.



Any act short of putting Goto Maki back in Morning Musume is not going to lessen the damage of Takahashi leaving.

I think the problem is they just don't know when things are going to settle down. =/ A lot of people couldn't even get to a store right now if they wanted to because of the gas shortages, disrupted or shut down trains, power interuptions, etc. I imagine an announcement will go up about the time frame as soon as things return to normal, and we'll still have a decent amount of time to save up.



I'm actually hoping maybe they'll set something up to donate some of the profits to charity. If not from these releases, maybe a special unit like J-FRIENDS after the Kobe quake.

Speaking of May, Morning Musume's 46th single has a name. [ Only You ] On CDJapan/Neowing they all come with a B3 size poster. 3 Limited + Regular edition.

A2 with a listed bonus of "Magical Future!" and "Seishun Song" (which were part of A1)

B2 with a listed bonus of Ai's "Sayonara Tomodachi ni wa Narutakunai no" (which was in B1)



Whereas the Blu-Ray's title of "complete version" means it has:



A2 (with a listed bonus of all A1 songs) and B2 (with a listed bonus of all B1 songs)
