Morning Musume - Seishun Collection

Got mine through some dude on MediaFire. JDownload failed me, so Goggle came to the rescue.

I love Momusu, but I'm not going to actually pay for a crap single. :s I'd consider it for Buono!, I was seriously considering it for MELON'S NOT DEAD, but as horrid as this single is, I wouldn't ever consider it.

Although "Tomo" does grow on you after a while. Still not a stellar song, but it's not as bad as I first thought it was.

D'oh! I'd figured they weren't on iTunes USA anymore after that JPop crackdown earlier this year. But hey, there it is & aac's a better encode than mp3 anyway. I'll just use my Japanfiles credits on something else.

There's several versions on jpopsuki & H!O, but honestly since everyone started using spectrum analysis, everything's labeled as a transcode & it's too much trouble to try & sort out genuine rips & people crying wolf.



ANYWAY, I like Seishun okay, but Tomo's catchier. Neither song is really "single" material though.

Got to say the more I listen to it the more indifferent I become, it just doesn't stick in my head at all, I think it may be in my bottom 5 singles but I think Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago is safe at the bottom. I would say that will always be the worst MM single ever but Tsunku might take it as a challenge.

Congrats for them getting #3 but the sales are still not really good. Hopefully they'll take this in and be a little more creative and give us something better and new.

My copies of "Seishun Collection" finally arrived. It's not the greatest MM song I've heard. Another one of those feel-good group songs like "Aruiteru" where all the personalities blend into one. No one gets solo lines here. Bland and colorless. The Dance Shot video is dull.



The main video is good, though, and has more interesting images. I love the jump shots off the unseen trampoline. The girls look good. I love Risa in short hair. The Single V comes with 28 min. of "Making of" footage, always a good thing in my book.
