Eri, PLL is MY show. As in the only show I watch on cable right now. I rush home from work and make my boyfriend claim the only tv that has cable on it for me haha. It is super addicting, and I started the books. The summer finale was on Tuesday and I was like mind blown. If you ever need to geek out about it send me a PM or something. :) I believe wapi watches it too!

SHAKING AND CRYING AT THE MID-SEASON REVEAL.

Okay, fangirling aside...

I started watching PLL when I was in Japan but I didn't tell a soul that I was watching it. I was that embarrassed. Later on I discovered more of my friends watched it, so I was able to come out of that closet a little bit The scenes can be too cheesy for my interests at times (please, no more rotating camera shots during kissing scenes! and corny music during intimate scenes...good god) but overall the story line is amazing and I was hooked from the first few episodes. I'm always at a loss during the periods of time it isn't on; it's just such a great guilty pleasure to have and I don't think I've been bored during any of the episodes.

eri, do NOT look up for more information!!! I even put myself on a social network ban after a major episode has aired, like this week's

Auuggghh, but how am I going to get all caught up in time to google outfits? I've basically blasted through Season 1 and will finish it in a few days. But then I have season 2 and 3!

So far, I like Spencer and Hannah the best. I like Spencer's outfits the most - she's like a less frilly Blair Waldorf.

Emily gets on my nerves for being so passive/too nice/ pained expressions but I find that actress the prettiest. Her first gf was a little too stereotypical "I grew up in Berkeley and my parents are hippies and I smoke pot and am totally bisexual freeee spiiirriiittt" but oh well.

Aria, I remember for The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2! The guy that plays Mr. Fitz looks so much like Colin Morgan (on the BBC show "Merlin") that it is tripping me out and I can't find him to be the dreamboat hot teacher like he's supposed to be.

How/where did you see it in Japan? I heard they are releasing the DVDs formally but, isn't ABC blocked for foreign IPs?

Ahh I downloaded it all Always! But I bought S1 last year on Black Friday and I'm really happy I did now that there have been so many twists. It's fun to rewatch but I hate shelling out more than $20 for a show.

Ezra isn't all that attractive to me either But I have a mad crush on Emily. She gets more likable but she is pretty goody-goody. Maya becomes a major part of the show again too, but I still don't really like her, now that I think about it. Spencer's one of my favorite characters now because the writers seem to be giving her more quips and humorous lines. Same with Aria.

Ezra reminds me of my sister's ex (but still acts like her current) boyfriend. So I can't help but look at him as him.

I like...Toby.

And Caleb but he needs a goddamn haircut.

Finally finished the first 4 seasons of Breaking Bad. Two biggest thoughts:

1. Walt has been an asshole since day 1 and he better die a horrible death at the series' end. I know the series concept had him transforming into an irredeemable character, but I feel like he's been unsympathetic since season 1.

2. There is no way those two idiots (Walt and Jesse) would be alive outside of plot armor. Actually, plot armor shields a couple of other characters too. Too many lucky streaks for me to consider it "good writing/best writing on television"

Other gripes:

Walt pretty much poisons the life of everyone he comes across. Jesse is still a good character, and I feel bad for him because he's always being manipulated. Skyler scenes are stupid to the point of me wanting to hit fast forward everytime her bitch face comes onscreen. I really like Gustavo's character. He should have taken a bit of Walt lessons and maybe he wouldn't have ended up in his predicament. The 4th was lauded by fans as the best, but I thought it really dragged on and on. The last episode had some suspense, but maybe my lack of interest is due to me hating everyone except 4 or so side characters.

Here's looking to the final season where they'll kill off great characters in favor of keeping shit ones alive!

Eventhough this might come off as a snippy sounding question (it's not, I only ever saw one episode of BrBa), do you like Dexter ?

I like Dexter, but haven't watched since season 5 started/didn't like the start of season 5.

Less than 10 minutes into the new season of ANTM (which I didn't even know started until I saw download links for it two weeks after the fact) and I'm able to say I'm done with this show. It's too MTV-styled for me to handle now and I don't give two fucks about college girls acting like sorority hos.

I just finished a The Larry Sanders Show marathon-athon. Truly a classic single-camera sitcom that paved the way for shows like The Office and 30 Rock. I wonder if Gary Shandling will grace my screen with a new show...

I've filled the marathon-athon void in my life with Better Off Ted, a quirky office comedy about researchers working for a global conglomerate. Funny and unusual characters.

Netflix has Season 5 of Gossip Girl on instant finally, so I can catch up on last season (which I missed most of because I work late and there were scheduling conflicts on the DVR) before the new one starts on Monday! I have 15 more episodes to watch, but luckily I won't actually get to watch the new episodes til next Friday when I go to my mom's.

As always, Pretty Little Liars opens up two more mysteries for each one that gets solved.

I'm finding Toby being one of the A Team pretty fucking hot, to be honest. It's hard for me to remember all of the evil stuff he's done when there's this much time in-between the big reveal and the Halloween episode, aka the first full episode where we know Toby is A.

As for the fake nails, I think alluding to the fact they were too big for a girl was a mislead. That had to have been Mona.

I started watching Grimm. It's terrible and the horrendous German hurts my insides, but I'm watching it anyway. I have no excuse.

I haven't enjoyed this season of 30 Rock QUITE as much as last season. I'm sure that'll change, though. It isn't a huge difference anyhow.

I watched RuPaul's drag race and was sad when Raven was robbed again.

I watch Toy Hunter because the dude is likable and I like toys too.

I need to catch up on the walking dead but well I'm not too happy about the direction in the show. I want to love it because zombie serial, but nope.

The show I watch regularly(?) is the jdrama Akumu-chan, which I started for the lulz and somehow became invested beyond that.

I don't really watch sitcoms anymore outside of Golden Girls and Frasier reruns.

More PLL chat?

Okay guys, was it Jason or Lucas that Aria stabbed? My theory is that it was Lucas after all, because usually when PLL makes something obvious that's not how it is. I think Lucas DID get stabbed, and then it healed, but then his "accident" happened and he hurt his leg again. There's something very, very fishy about all of this and I'm surprised Hanna wasn't more shocked that Lucas knew about Mona's sneaking out of Radley. Or do the girls know for certain he's got something to do with her? In that case, I'm surprised they're not grilling him more. Lucas is kind of a wimp, just saying.

It's intriguing if Toby's trying to run Lucas's ass over, and maybe it's for that reason - Lucas is weak and could probably break under pressure.

Who knows what Jason's wound is from though. Some people are speculating it was random pieces bursting out of the fire though.

That said, I think the wind should have blown Jason's shirt off. Keegan Allen's okay and all, but that's not what I'm here for. Where was his tattoo though? Was it just lower than his waistband?

Oh yeah, I totally think it's Lucas. He's always been pretty shady. And why would Tobey be chasing him anyway? It makes me think he is somehow involved. PS I finished the second book last night and have found the first place where the show has COMPLETELY deviated from the books. Pretty big shocker. o_O BUT if you haven't read the books I don't want to give spoilers in case you plan on it!

PS I got Ryan to start watching it with me from the beginning on Netflix but he always acts like he doesn't care. Yet last week he came downstairs while I was watching the new episode and had his hands over his ears and ran away as quickly as possible. And today he's like "so...wanna watch PLL when you get home tonight?" I have him hooked!

PS, it was weird watching Season 1 over again with the OTHER Jason.

And now y'all know why I'm madly in love with the Poehls. BOOM.

also I'm rather infatuated with a lovely little Brit sitcom called Miranda. I started watching it because I thought it was a lighthearted sitcom but instead I end up crying after every episode because they manage to weave humor and angst together so perfectly.

I'm in the middle of the sixth book, actually! GOSH it's weird. All of the relationships are off and the girls are barely friends in the books, not to mention the deaths. The books might be more biting, but I like the comradery in the TV show way more.

AAAHAHAHA! My coworker says her man watches it with her too. Mine just makes fun of it so I watch it when he's not home.

I've been having myself a Star Trek: TNG marathon since Saturday. It's been so long since I've seen a lot of these episodes in order. Some of them I don't remember of course, but a lot of them I do. It's good to see them again now that I'm older. :)

Almost finished with Season 1.

Recently, I've been rewatching a beloved show from my childhood, Poket Monsters (the original Japanese version.) I never knew about episode 38 of season 1, but it freaked me out when i read about it. "Denno Senshi Porygon" , also known as "Pokemon Shock" was insane that it caused almost 700 children to have photosensitive epileptic seizures.

Star...I was your age when that happened! I had used a review of Pokemon before it's release in America as a current event article for social studies, and I was like OMG so cute, I can't wait for this to come out in America! Then THAT incident happened, and I did another current event article about that and was sad that it would probably never be released here as a result...but next year it was! Fifteen years later and it's still one of my favorite series. :) When I was on JET I would come home every day after school and watch the first season of Pokemon in Japanese!
